    Well..... you have a mighty good-sized comfort zone Sir. This did not sound like out of any zone to me. Repeating yourself means you must listen to Dexter Gordon and Barney Kessel; nothing wrong with repeating. As far as too many notes, I thought the idea was to take an idea and build on it, which is what this sounds like. Otherwise, its like watching a movie where everything blows up, the kitty gets rescued, THEN they develop the characters. Nobody would follow that.

      Thanks so much James!! I'm typically very critical with my own playing but a day after the recording I was ok with it. I guess there's an ideal in my head how I want to sound like but that's probably never going to happen 🤣! But your comment really encourages me that everything's fine 👍😅 I think in the future I will record more stuff that's a little harder for me. It's a very good method to see what I should be practicing 👍 Thanks a lot!
