Great point about the excess space in the beavertail. Makes one wonder how that passed as acceptable with the Sig engineers, especially since it is an easy way to get the best ergos and lowering the bore axis out of their pistol. Oh well...

I like the idea of having the top dot on the back side of the scope like you do, but ill be using my 2-12 for dialing, so thats a no go for me personally, but for an LPVO not being dialed, thats probably a great setup.

The beaver tail is similar on the metal framed SiSs. The SP2022 comes with 2 full interchangeable grips. A third size can be purchased very cheaply. You must have bought a IPsec pistol which did not include the usual accessories..

another disadvantage of the PDW brace is that you can't stake the castle nut, and if you ever turn the gun into an SBR and put a normal stock on you'll have to take the whole buffer assembly off and then stake the castle nut, where as with the other braces you can just quickly pull the brace off and replace it with a stock with no tools.

100% saved me from buying the PDW. I am now getting the SBA5 in its place, thank you!

Just purchased the Arisaka offset mount. They have 22 different plates and two height choices. Standard (1.5" to 1.8" scope mounts) and Tall Height (1.6" to 2.2" scope mounts). All info on their website. As far as the Holosun, I have the same issue with controls being on the left side.

Awesome rifle and excellent price, quality. Excellent investment and protection. Barrier penetration and within 800 yards. It basically is a blue print for the KAC SR 25 and not the DPMS lower receiver.

In speaking of the ambi mag release, I agree I have the same issue at times. But I have not seen or heard of an alternate option as of yet. As far as the ammo selection along with red dot weight, mine pretty much eats anything standard velocity and up and I have a Holosun 507c on it right now. But I have switched out the guide rod and recoil spring with Taylor Tactical parts. So maybe that helps. I really like mine, it has 3800 rounds through it.

Going through that same dilemma now. Starting with an offset to start and see how I like it.

yo man big surefire guy here I have a rc2 556, rc2 556 mini, and 300sps. a dedicated 556 can does make a huge difference. there's so many schools of thought and pros and cons if you should get a full size or mini. if it's mainly for your 14.5 id probably get the mini, and the "smol cans" are fun on shorty guns also ... obviously they aren't going to be as quite as a full size can but it's 556.

The ATF doesnt care if you shoulder it. Per their 2017 ruling which they have yet to flip flop on. So you dont have to be all weird about it.

Why not run the red dot at a 45 on the scope then it wouldn't be so high. Also there's 45 degree mounts by reptilia that replaces the top ring

I picked one up for 450. I just wanted a sig cause growing up watching tv and the 226/229 looked so cool but over a grand is just out of my price range. I love the night sights feels good in the hand but I have to agree it’s a pretty high Bore compared to my cz p07 it’s like a sky scraper lol. It’s a nice pistol and I feel like it gets you pretty close to a 229 or alike. For a range toy or frankly just an other 9mm for the collection I’m happy with it. I will say compared to the p07 and that’s a very direct competition to the 2022 the controls on the sig are better easier to reach I have pretty average hands and I don’t have issues with the p07 the sigs are just better. The p07 is still one of my favorites but I don’t have buyers remorse picking up the 2022 by any means it’s a cool pistol and worth it’s price tag.

Thanks for the review! I'm glad to see that B&T makes Surefire hub compatible suppressors!! I love my RC2 Mini and it performs great on my 13.7 & 16" guns but a bit louder on my 11.5" build. I'd like to buy and try the newer B&T SRBS flow thru can w/the surefire hub. Hopefully soon I'll be able to pick one up. I'm also a fan of the Geissele charging handles to mitigate gas to the face, albeit it's not a ton, but better than my regular charging handles did.

B&T can is just twist. You do not depress the tab. Just turn to tighten and turn to loosen

I have a mini i run on a 10.5 and a 16, it works takes a lot of the bite out of the 10.5, but I would like to get an rc2 to go with it. Just ordered a 300sps, im excited to see how I like it
