Mark Antony was a hot headed douchbag but the gods couldn’t stop him from taking care of his soldiers. Remember at this point he felt that Vorenus had betrayed Caesar allowing him to be assassinated, but his loyalty to his soldiers and legions was so great he still felt concerned hearing Vorenus was in trouble…
Even though it was entirely normal in Rome, I found it endlessly amusing that Posca, now a freedman, changed nothing about his behaviour. He stuck around Antony and Octavian because they had treated him well, and this was the world he knew. They valued his presence. He wore a new toga and got married, but that was about it. Even as a slave, Caesar liked that Posca didn't mince words and spoke his mind if he thought Caesar was making a mistake. It was an interesting look at how certain close house slaves lived in a different world than most slaves.
Please forward to.. Pete Hegseth only. And tell HIM ... I SAID Happy Satunalia SPQR. Noted MARS S.P.Q.R. 🇮🇹 🇩🇪 . 🎄.
It’s been 17 years and Flavio’s still not coming.
"No man is beyond redemption Lucius. Not even you".
Era simplesmente genial
🇧🇷🇧🇷🤦🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤦🤦🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🤦🤦😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁🇧🇷🤦🤦
Isto é Agildo... fazia rir milhões de pessoas
Welcome to hell, General. lol.
this scene was so awesome
You can never remove the soldier from a man, no matter his state.
One of the greatest classics of all time. Rome was far better than Game of Thrones. The actors completely nailed the characters of that age. They should be proud.
I love that Anthony ignores all the politicians and all the bootlickers but stops when he sees a legionary that was under his command and put a smile on Anthony's face when he sees him
Kkkkkkkkkkkkkk
Looks like Vorenus and Pullo went into Soldier mode pretty merciless no prisoners.
Bons tempos quando o Zorra Total era um humorístico de verdade. Saudades o Senhor Laércio Fala Claro.
Poor Flavio got indisposed right when his boss needed him, bad timing.
Best actor to ever portray this historic figure. In a class by himself id go so far to say
🇧🇷💯💯👍👍🤦🤔🤔🤦🥱🥱🤦😁😁😁😁😁😁🤦
Titus ain't playin'. And Lucius? You better BEG its quick.
I absolutely loved Vorenos and Pullo's friendship. They had each other's backs until the end.
This is how man’s relationship look like.
Claramente inspirou o João Plenário da Praça É Nossa.
Good Lord this show was soooo good scripted. And the cast... just amazing. 👏
I love that the show runners made it a point to show how Anthony cared for his soldiers. He may not have been a smart man when it came to politics but history tells of the soldiers loving nobody more, other than Julius Caesar himself.
The reaction to the head and then brushing his hands together...he's only annoyed not horrified like the general public would be.
Everything about this show is a masterpiece. I can't believe HBO canceled it after only 2 seasons.
GOAT Rome show, maybe historical fiction in general.
Say what you will about Marc Antony, he was a soldier and cared about his men.
Damn, Antony actually showed some kindness there.
Bring this show back please!
Forever, as in no one knows him, if he actually lived.
Shame, shame on the House of HBO for ending this series. Shame.
Mark Anthony may have been nothing like this in history but James Purefoy gives such an incredible performance it doesn't really matter
General posca speaks🤣🤣🤣
You are wrong, Centurion. DIS...is not your master. *I AM YOUR MASTER.* _By sacred oath under standards of the XIII._
I love this scene. As high ranking and prominent as Antony is at this point in the mini series, he still takes the time to address issues with his former soliders. This is how you get men to follow and die for you.
Flavio isn’t coming
Soldier to soldier, no matter the circumstances.
Girls bonding: I like your dress Boys bonding: 1:11
"Ahhh, General.Posca speaks" 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Fuck you, HBO, for canceling this flawless masterpiece 🖕🏻
By far, one of the most memorable scenes of the entire show.
By sacred oath under the standard of the 13th .. gosh I know this was just a tv series but the Romans really took the Gods personally and literally it’s very interesting .
They were so religious and dedicated to the pre Christian polytheism and the old Roman pantheon that to a modern observer would almost seem like schizophrenia. Very fascinating.
@ VERY
Wow this was a great leader what an awesome series HBO Rome - legend!
Best pep talk I've ever seen.
Standatafuckingattentionwheniamtalkingtoyou !
Would love to see Erastes Fulmen performing "Multi homines"
“Are you stitching me up or making a dress ? Will you hurry up man ?” “Good news bad news huh” “Marc Antony is not defeated” This two minute clip had so many gems. Purefoy was amazing. The whole cast was superb.
🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦😁😁😁😁😁😁🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🤦🤦
