I have done this training a couple times. I often think as a civilian how many times would I need this training. Like I am not going to church or the mall with my rifle edc. This would be great training if ww3 happens or for swat or military. It is mostly a waste for the average civilian who always has their fighting rifle at home or hidden in the truck.
You’re not really wrong, based on your priorities. But there are civilians who would have potential uses for transitioning to their secondary. And there’s nothing wrong with seeking out skill for its own sake. For MIL/LE (who I often teach) this is an essential skill.
