@@thebibleblack8954 I’m so glad I’m not the only one! It seems you put a whole ton of elbow grease in to get very little results 😅 using surface cleaner and a microfibre cloth has been my most successful method yet but is very labour intensive should I say 🤣

@@ricky8448 Thankyou so much for watching 🫡 It’s an odd one with traffic, I messed it up previously when i accidentally ended my ongoing marketing campaign for 5 days. My traffic fell off a cliff at this point and I’ve been trying to claw it back ever since 😅 posting daily, reducing oldest stock prices , improving titles etc on sticky stock, start a promotion of not already using it, or increase your % a little if you are using one. Offer coupons 10% works great for me. Or even a Markdown sale can work too but usually performs better for larger % off like 30%-40%. Best for when you want to clean stock out 🫡

I did do a massive clothing bulk deal earlier in the year which is still working through too. My space is across two rooms at the moment but majority of stock kept in one room. Currently at 649 active listings 🫡

Once your store has stock in it, it can sell regardless if you are continuing to list more items, but your traffic will be higher overall with new listings going live too, which should increase the sales you get. So defo not required but i would certainly have made more money if I had continued to list 👌 Thankyou so much, I hope the holiday season was good to you too! Soo I never used to offer free shipping, and then I made changes to my store to do everything eBay was asking for to see if it would increase my sales. Free postage, free returns etc. I’d say it felt like I got a boost at first. And since then has balanced itself out. I generally offer free postage on clothing and then add a postage fee to the buyer for hard goods. But yeah, I just bake the cost of the postage into the sale of the item. I find having the “free in 3” days postage badge on the clothing listings really helps 👌

@@_tweak_audio_ It’s so consistent it can’t just be a coincidence right??! 🤷‍♂️ I’m happy becuase it makes me sales, but at the same time, I’d rather have made the money from those sales myself than my good stock sold to cover the cost and bring me back to 0. It’s always on great items too

@@TommyTrades96 no difference with sales, just not unnecessarily giving ebay extra money. (they can keep thier £10 voucher) i try to keep my store lean, i need to have a clear out and delist crap thats been sitting for a year. my store sell through rate is pretty decent. current 90 day numbers are 472 active and 479 items sold. so im selling though my store quite quickly, it should probably be higher, as ive got stuff still listed that should get rid of as its not gonna sell. i'll make another carboot pile :)

No, I don't tend to offer markdowns just decrease price on items listed for a while in general. Anything that takes a long time to sell I.e 3-6 months I auction off starting at a price I'd be happy with as a minimum.

@ Nice that’s defo a good strategy that helps to keep ontop of your stockflow. I’ve been trying to take part in “sale periods” that fall into the year like Black Friday, Halloween sale, Xmas sale, Boeing day sale, new year sale or coupons. But just leaning into the promotion of these times and have seen some good success with it. While also doing the same thing as yourself. Just trying to give more opportunities to get things sold

yeah I was the same, best was first 2 weeks of December if not September into October period. I was expecting a slow down as close as week are to Xmas now. But this was recorded during early December just off the back of Black Friday and Novembers sales. It’s always up and down for sure, I’m not on holiday mode for Xmas and will be building up my draft bank ready for the new year 🥳🍾🥂 might even stick a cheeky Boxing Day coupon / sale on too 😉
