Wow whee .... my favourite food. Thank you. In Penang, Malaysia it's sold in all the hawker centers and a common street food. We call it 'koay kak.' Fried with soy sauce (both light and thick), garlic or chopped salty preserved raddish, bean sprouts and chilli paste for spicy taste.😊
My pleasure! Yes! Chinese took this recipe everywhere🙌 and people change the recipe a bit base on where they are. It’s just too delicious to say”no” too. And if you happen to pass by a place frying this rice cake , you gotta have some cuz the smell is just too tempting😊. Thanks for watching my video and leaving me comments! 💕
How come i cant save this on my playlist
Not sure what is the reason. You should be able to save the video to your playlist.
look perfect....thanks....
Thank you! Thanks for watching my video! 💕
Looks great!
Thank you! 💕
They both look scrumptiously delicious. Are both types wrappers authentic Vietnamese? It's not an important question but just out of curiosity. I'll be making this tonight. Thanks for the recipe.
The rice paper is the authentic one. The pastry wrappers are commonly use in the U.S, I never saw that type of wrappers for egg rolls when I was growing in Vietnam. However, the pastry wrappers stay crispy longer. If you use the rice paper, eat it fresh once you finish frying or it will become chewy. If you asked which one do I like, I prefer the rice paper ones. Hope you enjoy the dish! 💕
I just came back from an Asian market called Hung Vuong food market here in Newark, Delaware. At the food court, I came by a stall offering amazingly delicious looking offerings/dishes so I asked the lady what she was serving an Asian couple in front of me, but couldn’t speak English to tell me what this dish was, so I just went for it! It was so so good! Amazingly delicious!
Oh I am so glad you found this delicious dish! It’s quite popular in our Asian cuisine whether Vietnamese or Chinese, we have many ways in prepare the pig’s ears. If it comes with some braised sauce, that sauce will pair well with a bowl of hot steam rice😋! Thanks for watching my video and leaving me comments. I hope you find more delicious recipes on my channel! Take care! 💕
