    Butt wink ( lumbar flexion ) at the bottom of the squat is normal. As long as you don’t experience pain and actually use appropriate loading your body will adapt. Speaking in absolutes claiming IT WILL cause pain is just straight up wrong.

    One hairy leg that makes the tape ineffective. But the applicator the tape was good, except the ends of the tape should’ve been trimmed and rounded.

    My biceps actually hurt in nearly all of the stretches, even the non bicep ones. As well as my neck. I was diagnosed with a chronic tension in my neck and have pain from my neck down my shoulder blades and into my arms and wrists. Do you have any tips for what exercises can help with that? A lot of my pain also comes from between the shoulder blades closer towards the neck. I was also diagnosed with tennis elbow in both arms. I also feel like lately my shoulders are being pulled forward a lot in my sleep and that is causing more pain Thank you in advance.

      @livewellhealthcentre1859 Рік тому

      Hello, thank you for your message. A proper assessment and tailored exercise program would be the best way forward as you have multiple thing occurring at once. Look into some hand and forearm strengthening as this will help with your tennis elbow and then anything that gets your spine moving to help open up your thoracics is a good place to start! Hope this helps :)

    I was glad to see a video that didn't use the word 'senior' - as most Theraband videos seem to do. Plenty people of all ages use, including boxers and footballers - thanks for the content.

    Hi! So I have a question. When would you see an exercise physiologist as opposed to a physical therapist? Thanks!

    • @livewellhealthcentre1859
      @livewellhealthcentre1859 Рік тому

      Hello Christopher! In Australia, Exercise Physiologists are allied health professionals who assess and manage your condition with clinical exercise intervention. There is also a strong focus on behavioural change and self-management. Therapists assess, provide a diagnose and treat your condition through a variety of hands-on skills and exercise. There may be instances where you will need one of these services while other injuries/conditions where you will need both. For example a therapist may provide diagnosis and treatment initially, then refer to an Exercise Physiologist for the prescription and progression of individualised exercises to restore to function and/or to assist with chronic injury. An Exercise Physiologist may also been seen for conditions not typically seen by a therapist such as cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome and diabetes.

      Less hair will definitely make it easier for the tape to stick around the knee, plus it hurst less when removing it! A good trick is to take it off in the shower under hot water :)

    Totally appreciate the effort? But as a 33 year PT? I would use a MUCH MUCH simpler technique. Also. KT Tape is todays fad. It’s way way overpriced, and not remotely as effective as rigid tape, when it comes to taping the foot for plantar pain.

    • @livewellhealthcentre1859
      @livewellhealthcentre1859 2 роки тому

      Hi there, this is merely one technique that can be used to help with plantar fasciitis. We can definitely do another video with other techniques if you'd like! We are also not claiming this to be the best method for taping the foot in regards to plantar pain and rigid tape is definitely a good option.

    • @84CORVETTEBILL
      @84CORVETTEBILL 2 роки тому

      @@livewellhealthcentre1859 oh I agree! And value the video! It’s not lost on me, that these take time and dedication to produce! I just wanted to speak on the issue of ease. As I’m sure you’d agree? With my clients? Easier the technique? More likely they are to do it at home! P.s! Since you kindly asked? I think a video on the use of Leukotape would be awesome! I’ve just had some bad experiences with kinesiology tapes in general… Again with regards to home use applications? At least for my clients? Price is very important! And the static nature, and price of Leuko tape is a nice alternative!
