Heya... yah I still play UO.. haven't really had the inspiration for any sort of new video though.. TBH.. I made most of these in order to show guildies my temp/tactics.. it was easier than trying to type it out in Discord. I still play from time to time though... mostly on Pacific, but also on Siege Perilous... The game hasnt really changed much though.. and with the advent of sites that give much better info than I ever could like UO.CAH.. not sure what sorta content Id make.. I was thinkig of doing a 0-120 tamer guide.. with all the bard tamer tricks I know.. but I dunno if thatd be worthwhile these days.

In my experience, this is not true.. the only guaranteed 120s I know are from the crafting system and fishing.

I touch on this a bit with the Sampire Weapons vid.. But generally.. I like Hit Mana Leech (a must), Hit Stam Leech (most times for me).. and Swing Speed Increase (if needed).. along with a slayer. When talking Crafted items you only have room for 5 attributes and not all at max value.. (sometimes 6 if you use reforging/refining). If I DONT need a slayer and or Swing speed increase.. I like Hit LIghtning a LOT.. (the lightning hits will also proc some of your buffs, plus really good on hard to hit mobs/bosses). I never use Hit Life Leech on really any of my weapons unless it comes with it.. TBH.. good RNG rolls on legendary artificacts, far outweigh anything you can do on a crafted item.. so what I do is use crafted items with only the props I need.. If you can get 100% damage increase on just your armour, this frees up being able to use a lot of the found weapons in the game.. (as a lot of them dont come with DI)

@@rabidsniper6925 Well, with all magic skills as you know you can set a macro and watch a movie or something. Set It and Forget It kinda thing. Although it's been a very long time since I built worrier skills. We used to use a 100% poison weapon on a golem, but not sure if that works anymore. But thanks for the reply. Have you thought about making other vids on building other skills? I think you did such a good job with your vids that I know more people could learn more from your experience on other things like skills, quest, and more..

@@rabidsniper6925 Richard, I have a question or two. Do you use the latest UO Steam or Razor Enhanced? I've tried to down them with no success. I've downloaded UO Enhanced client yrs ago and could never get it to run, so I play classic UO. I'm having a new gaming computer built and want to run UO enhanced client along with latest Razor Enhanced & UO Steam. The vids that I've found were not helpful AT ALL.. Would you be able to make vids on how to download them and get them up and running? I would SO GREATLY appreciate it....

@@speedbuggy7240 heya...well.. theres the pesky Terms of Service to contend with.. Ill be 100% honest though.. I could care less about terms of service on a game that we literally keep going with our monthly "donations". For the record, I use almost exclusively UO Enhanced Client to actually play the game.. To me the features and macro/hotkey layout is far superior, as well as the playable area (I play on a large, wide screen monitor). That's just my opinion though, and many old school players like myself disagree with that. As far as I know, recent changes in UO and Broadsword have taken a "Crackdown" approach to 3rd party clients. I have lots of experience with Razor and mostly UOSteam. I checked the other day, and UOSteam does still work on production servers... but I doubt ill be using it, since I rarely play on legacy client..

my latest fiddle-around UO stuff has been in modding the Enhanced Client for a UI and gameplay flow that I want/use. Enhanced Client is really quite extensible if you can figure out how to reverse engineer it.. (not a lot of good documentation on it)

Thanks for the feedback... UI Crafting is I think what Ive always liked best... however the Legendary item influx has really made it not as great.. but great for getting your toons going full custom style ;)

Welcome to the game! It can seem daunting to start this game from scratch. Warrior is a good class that will be easy/cheap to sustain by just running around the land..

This build is more archery focus.. which you cant parry with.. Bushido is intended to provide lightning strike as well as whirlwind damage from a whip. (not a super strong AOE, but decent enough).

Atlantic is a high trafficked server.. Pacific is decent. not sure bout many others.. Siege is also pretty active and fun.

The materials are all farmable, and its often good to gain certain things while "training".. especially places like The Stygian Abyss.. However.. imbuing skill takes a bunch of time and effort.. It may be best to try and find the pieces that match (Or close to) from friends or vendors first. HOnestly, most of the gear that drops on decent mobs can be used like this if you have the patience to gather them from all around the world and from vendors/guildies. Good luck and have fun!

My tamer build for this is a Tamer / Bard.. 120 Tame/Lore/Vet/Music, 90 Peace, 90 Discord, 60 Magery REAL skill... Then I add 30 Points in Peace , Discord and Magery through imbued ring/bracelet.. and carry a magey book. Gear is fairly simple.. full LRC/LMC with as much Mana Regen as you can stack..

@@alexanderivanov2326 For my tamer no.. I focus the real skill on taming and use the taming masteries.. I only use the bard skills for peacemaking (mostly area peace) and the occasional discord.. mostly when training pets.. I have a full bard template that I run for barding stuff... I have another video on that build.

Hi.. sorry this is late.. I dont always check these video comments.. but... to answer your question.. I use Chivalry for "Consecrate Weapon".. which sets your weapon dmg to be the enemy's least damage resistance. I also use it for "Enemy of One" when dealing with bosses or heavy hitting mobs.. this can be risky if you are surrounded by different mob types though.. lastly, I use it for traveling around through "Sacred Journey". occasionally I use the cure, or remove curse.. hope that helps.

Well... thats a tricky question... I had considered doing some Classic Client scripting tuts.. but decided against it.. because it really opens up the possibility for violating a lot of the ToS.. Lets just say, that hypothetically (of course) if I were going to script a bot in UO.. Id use UOSteam (UOS) and write scripts/programs to do pretty much whatever I wanted.. Hypothetically of course, I could even write scripts that fish, farm, loot certain items and store them back home in certain containers... hypothetically of course.. :) Not never on production shards... ;)
