These chaps are dangerous drivers
Me and my wife got on one similar to this in 2021 to Thika Road Mall we both were more interested in the onboard music videos then our stop so we passed the stop. This beats west Africa with 3 in front and 4 in the back shared taxis playing Bob Marley on repeat in Togo or Benin or a 12 hour cross Ghana bus ride with hardly any rest stops.

The Matatus are very impressive and when I lived in Nairobi they were interesting to see. I didn't know that the Matatus started their lives as trucks apart from a few that look like trucks I thought that they're were built as buses originally. I loved Kenya and I miss Nairobi too

It was one of the fundamental cornerstones of England's industrial revolution, allowing easy and economical transport of goods and passengers. It was so crucial for the nation's industrialization and growth. The same can be said for the USA as well. Is it corruption and greed that is the problem?

@@mughug9616 In England it started with canals. The products were floated through canals. Then came steam-powered water pumps. To pump excess groundwater out of the mine. Then there were steam locomotives and the transport madness began. A good location on trade routes brings high profits. Rivers, roads and ports on sea routes. This is the most effective way to get rich.
@@bratbrata4974 Are you saying Ghana has enough of the right types of rivers and/or can afford to construct a canal system like we find in the UK? Revitalizing the existing rail system seems to be the most economical and feasible option if they can control the government corruption there. The UK had paved roads in Roman times yet Ghana only has approx. 5,800 km of paved roads in the 21st century and much of that was built by the British. Both the road system and the rail system have been neglected since independance. Seems like controlling the greed by officials would be the essential first step.

Starting from 15k for the model with up to 45kmh and 20k for model with 90kmh, crazy
@eraldo6 that's an absolutely insane price for something that can barely keep up with traffic my ebike was 1000 dollars and can go 45km an hour for about 70km range

In an era where countries are increasingly adopting electric power, we all know there are significant expenses involved in setting up the necessary infrastructure, such as overhead lines, substations, and control systems. While a country like Ghana has the financial capability to afford these costs, it is puzzling why they chose to rely on diesel instead.
