At 500 subscribers I'll do an actual video revealing the cars currently in my driveway!
My two main hobbies are cars and (ultra)running--hence the channel name. I've been a car enthusiast ever since I was a kid (my first word was legitimately "car"), and the goal of this channel is to share some of my automotive knowledge in a clear and concise way to those going through the potentially confusing car buying process.
I am not affiliated with any manufacturers.

Best comparison video on Sienna. Thank you, helped me decide.
This video is straight GAS! I wish more people made videos like these. Seriously.
You didn't mention that there is also a carbon edition turbo
Toyota Rav4 TRD off road is better than Jeep or Ford off road cars
2yrs later..Thank you
imho all the extra safety features while nice is not needed. i have driven over 500k miles in my lifetime so far and have yet to need the modern safety features so imho the le is fine. only reason i wouldnt get that trim is i wont buy a car without a leather steering wheel
Very good review. Good job.
Hands down, the best and to the point trim comparison. Thank you so much
I have 2022 le AWD gas and love it , mine has blind sept monitoring , bought it used here in Canada with only 3700 km at 2 yeats old , now at 13000km and bought this trim level as it was a deal and low km and very happy with it, got a near new vehicle . Added some Toyota oem aluminum rims .
I've been trying to figure out for hours what the difference is between the trims. This video simplifies everything.
Hi. Awesome video and so so informative... Can you pls do a similar video for 2024? THANKS.
I’ve been looking at used RAV4 and debating between XLE and Adventure! This is the best and most useful video I’ve seen yet! Thank you!
The best and most efficient comparison!
If you have to have "blind-spot monitoring" to avoid an accident, you probably shouldn't be driving a car.
I wish I had seen this video before I bought my Rav4. The reasons you mentioned are the exact reason I want to change my car
This video helped me buy a 23 Rav4 Hybrid XLE. Wonder why you stopped making or updating these. I personally got a lot of value and consider these the most useful videos on YT for a serious and yet novice or first time car buyer who does not know what trim to get. You provide serious analysis on why people should (or not) consider certain trims without fluff.
The added complexity/maintenance cost for hybrid worth the 11% savings in gas
5yrs down the, road are you going to get the same fuel mileage in the hybrid.?I’m looking at the adventure and the fuel mileage isn’t too bad.
Why did u stop posting?
Great Video
Really informative video. I don’t know if this changed since you made it, but in ‘23 the limited comes standard with the 10.5 screen/11 speaker jbl sound system and upgraded speedo display. For me the audio upgrade makes a big difference.
I got LE and it's perfect. As this cars doesn't matter what trim you get are cheaply built , body not insulated. Body sheet metal supper thin , mirrors shake when you drive lol because they are attached to body door that is very thin , that's why it gets great milage , my le gets 35 mpg city and I get close to 40 on i5 , because it doesn't moon roof and all the other accessories aloy wheels ( extra weight ) It's perfect all wheel drive car that won't break a bank , also costs 36$ to do ail change full synthetic! With oem filter ( if you do it urself ) that is. Compared to my audi q7 that costs me 225 $ every time.
good job
Such a useful video, thanks
Wow amazing so much more clear and concise than many of the other breakdown videos hope you do more of these and specifically for this year‘s model SUVs
Highlander looks better than Sienna IMHO. Grew up with Vans and they're great but I like SUVs more.
Thank you for the video, any idea why the steering seems stiffer than other suv's?
Thanks! very helpful. Is the 2023 Woodland Model just a hybrid 'Adventure' model? Or, any thoughts to the Woodland? Anyone? Anyone?
Premium is best cause you get the signature lights with out the top price. Plus better color options for interior
Hello all! I need some guidance. I drive about 24,000 miles just for work. Should I go for a Rav Prime or stick with a Rav Hybrid? Electricity : 11 cents kWh.
I dont see those S Select seats looking very good after a few years. I would get the S if I had to choose. Cloth seats have never let me down. Unfortunately they did not have the S trim when I wanted to buy one, so I moved straight up to the S Preferred hoping that the leather seats will look good well into the future with a garage and meticulous care. Plus those select seats really look chincy even when brand new.
Dig a little more...the SE/XSE have the improved lithium battery packs making it a consideration. And, if you drive the base RAV4, the added handling is very much welcomed in the SE/XSE.
Hello my friend. My name is Michael and I just finished watching your show about which trim of the Sienna to get. I live here in Minnesota and there’s a lot of snow here and freaking cold in the winter time. I’m still debating and confuse which trim to get. I’m sure wanting a minivan like the Sienna but if you’re in my place which trim would you go for. Thx in advance!!
Very helpful! Thank you!
Good video, another reason I chose the XLE Premium was the better-looking wheels and you also get, at least in the 2023 model, a dual memory driver's seat.
XLE Premuim Hybrid. The Topgun configuration. #1. Can you do the 2023 and 2024 models? 🤔
awesome video, wish you'd continue these types of videos
Who cares what you think??
TRD and Adventure have the coolest grills... it's only the most important feature, lol
I got a black on black SE and I love it.
I got a 2021 xle awd gas in white with the all weather package so includes roof rack and sturdy rubber mats for about ~33,000. A little expensive but I absolutely love it
This was a helpful video. I agree with your assessments and used this in my shopping. My out the door price for a Silver and Black 2023 Mazda CX5 including tag, title, tax, and all dealer profit was $31,800. I replaced the front door and pillar speakers for $240.
Which trim level did you get?
@@zhaohongyu9482 This was a 2023 CX5 Select Trim level. 8 trim levels, this is the one just above base trim.
@@markcoleman8075 i am thinking about getting 2023 cx5 select white, OTD is close to yours, how do u like ur new cx5 so far?
Please do on on the 25th anniversary model!
I'm confusing between Adventure and LTD hybrid which is better?
DriveToRun you are totally WRONG
I would really like the TRD, but I would also really like LED headlights. Are they easy to add on after buying? Wondering if the mounting/connection is any different or if it has to be programmed.
Yes you can switch out the old lamps to the updated 2023 led rav4 lights 👍
It would be amazing if you continued this for 2023 models as well. You broke everything down well and it was a solid video. Thank you for taking the time to make these.
Not a good review. You only include a base level of knowledge for each trim which you can easily gain just from doing some research on the Toyota website. There are a multitude of nuances that you fail to grasp. 👎
valuable and well presented
What if my primary concern is getting a trim that doesn’t have that completely pointless gap above the grill? I really hate that gap and I hate that I gotta spend an extra $6k to get a Rav4 that actually looks good
