Our family just bought in Anacostia last year and I’m so glad we did we LOVE it here. We have a 2,400+ sqft home for such an affordable price. Walking distance to MLK and the 11th St bridge.

I was hoping again you would open the bottom corner cabinets in the kitchen of the second house. Women want to know about such things.

The area in DC is ugly so in make sense to put luxury in the homes vs the home in clarksburg is beautiful area

I love the secret feature of the first house ! Not so much the older/original feel. Second house was lovely ! Condo very sleek ! Love love the vibe! Would’ve been nicer if it had other amenities like a gym/pool etc… If I had to choose I’d go with the second house !

I wish DC would have invested in fixing up the rental properties and older businesses in Anacostia. I'm very familiar with that area because I'm a native Washingtonian now living in MD and my mother still lives in Anacostia. I think the properties shown were visually appealing but some of the areas that closely surround them are an eyesore. Also, there are no activities on the properties such as pool, party room etc. for the HOA fee you're paying. With regentrification DC like most cities has become unaffordable not to mention the parking.

Wow. If I had an extra 500K to spare....that first home is amazing, especially the secret feature.

The view from the first home is priceless.

LOVED the first two homes..condos..not so much my style

Absolutely not!!

I am absolutely OBSESSED with this house! Brick interiors have always been my style, and this one nails it-perfect layout, beautiful details. I’m especially in love with the master suite level. Kitchen could’ve been a bit bigger but it’s tolerable. Honestly, I wouldn’t change a thing… well, maybe just the price! 🙃😊

At this price point I demand an elevator for 4 levels. You already know the closets are unbearably small but I’d used one of the rooms and create a custom closet. I love the parking spaces. The kitchen is way smaller than I dream of. The kitchen is a no for me, especially for this much money. It’s about the size kitchen I have in my 2 bedroom condo.

I really like this home. Unfortunately I'd have to live in the basement unit Too many stairs no room for an elevator or stair lift.

Only problem I had with the house was closet space..but..it is a VERY FINE HOME‼️ 💯✔️😉

Since when we start adding basements into square feet? If so my house bigger than this

Simply nice but wrong price and location its in the hood which most of DC is a hood. H Street is sling and hang vile = in the night the areas change to something only the highly Satanic can tolerant -and next door can very well be just another trap house among many through the district complete with people on your stairs and in your yard ...

Great upgrades to the first home; the exposed bricks in the rear of the ground floor looked great. 👍🏾 The entry way renovation looks perfect for a club or speakeasy. 🤔 😅

I LOLed at "One thing I love about Columbia Heights is that there is always something going on." You ain't lying there. Just not in the way that people think.

The only thing I don’t like is being on that busy street. There’s no privacy then the thought of breakins. That basement is fire though

They can keep that house for that price. All three bedrooms share that small bathroom. If you need to get to your car, you have to go all the way to the basement to get to it or to BBQ outside...for $700k. That is a single person's starter home. No family will fit in there comfortable.

I love the fact that you covered Shepherd Park. I grew up down the street and was there today. Yes the homes are old, stately and charming, most with enough reno to make it appealing yet with opportunity to make your own mark. Yes, small closets etc but those orig cast iron heaters are a craftsman masterpiece, and the whole thing screams charm. Plus houses there have a WIDE variety. That was a Tudor w a small backyard (nods for the screened-in porch). But you have all kinds of homes, mostly large with decent to large backyards. YET, the best part is you.cannot.beat.the.neighborhood.itself!!! Quiet, beautiful but WALKABLE to all the city you'll ever want or need, including metro.

The house is very nice but overpriced and very small. Providing extra storage space is a concern too.

Cute house but a bit too small for that price. Also, a home should have a proper foyer; I don’t like entering directly into the living room. Also, I don’t like that the kitchen is immediately visible when one walks in.

600k for a townhouse is crazy-work, and I understand city living but lets be clear ownership with land is a much more lucrative deal in real-estate 😂

Cute. Well designed. But a 'starter home'? For $699,000? For a small family? With all their belongings and items? That's a pretty significant asking price to me for 'starter home' at over $3,400 per month - just one person's opinion.

For 700K, I would not want to move into a house that I would quickly outgrow. The house is essentially 2.5 bedrooms since that room with crib means only infants would live in there. No bathroom on main living area is a hard PASS when having to go up or downstairs for a bathroom 😅😅😅

Strongly considering National Harbor, though I'm not a fan of PG county or being that close to VA. The amenities and water taxi to DC!

There's no privacy if you want the natural sunlight. A heavy rain...the unit would be flooded...any security against packages being taken! The outside of the building looks like a facility for social service purposes! No coat closet! for 700K.....mmmmmmmmmmm

H street was where i moved to from Texas. But the siren noise in that area was too much to bear. I moved to a different area of NOMA and it was much better.

So many people are not even aware that one of the Greatest Opera Stars made his home in this area his name was Todd Duncan his studio was there and his grand home located on A triple lot that he purchased after his huge hit in Broadway in the 1930’s., thank you Mr. Duncan for your Sterling Preformabce in Porgy and Bess
