I've been seeing so many people saying they're going to make their own Elsa and Anna. This Disney collab makes no sense with some dolls being for collectors and others being playline. This collab is a mess, in my opinion.

I was glad to hear your opinion on these 2 dolls. I ordered Anna, and i might order Elsa soon. I just think Elsa looks angry, and Anna reminds me of Anne of Green Gables. She also reminds me of the prairie. Or even Heidi in the mountains. I am still hoping the Wizard of Oz will be their Halloween release. I can always hope. I do wish there was a play line for frozen dolls and clothing.

Appreciate the heads up on gap outfit! Just ordered on gap! I agree that Anna looks better and outfit looks more expensive. I hope AG did not cheap out on Elsa knowing we would buy both. But she looks like an Elsa you could create as you said. Love your videos

Thank you for the upload! I would love to know how many scalpers have purchased these dolls. I totally agree with you on wanting accessories. If the dolls came with an extra dress or two/accessories at this price, I would consider purchasing them. Luckily, I have my eye on another collection American Girl has out:).

I wish AG would stop the Swarovski crystals. They stick cut glass all over the dress and charge 150 extra dollars. It’s a scam. Quality clothing fabric, embroidery, layered clothing, better wig quality, or more painted details would be real added value in my opinion.

I’m loving this release I’m kinda of similar to Elsa as I deal with Raynaud’s syndrome my fingers often turn blue when I’m in a cold area like the conference room in my local library and of course it had to show up in book club when one of my friends noticed my electric hand warmers it was kinda of embarrassing at first cause I was still trying to figure it out and learn how to find ways to not let my hands get too cold and I was born in the middle of winter and I’m a fan of Frozen way more than I was when it first came out.

I got Anna! Red hair and BANGS, on a face mould that's never had red hair? I was there! Disappointed in Elsa though, because she looks so much like Rapunzel and TM 115. Those three dolls are pretty much the same except for small variations in hair style and shade of blonde, and makeup. They all have the Marie Grace face mold and very similar or same eyes, skin tones, and long pale-blonde hair. Elsa is also quite similar to the AG Cinderella doll, which I have, except for the face mold. But Anna is truly different.

I was going to purchase these if they were play line due to how delicate these collector dolls are. Hopefully they will release Anna and Elsa for the playline down the road as I like the appeal of having three outfits per doll/not having to be as careful with the doll.

Anna has always been my favorite and I think the doll is pretty. Nope not me.

OMG!!! Mattel/AG just danced into the realm of a fan theory! The gave Rapunzel and Elsa the EXACT SAME face mold, skin color and eye color!!! Fan theory states that Rapunzel and Elsa are twin sisters! The theory goes on to state that because both girls have magical powers, separating them between 2 queen sisters would keep both of them safe!

I asked my daughter if she wanted this Elsa doll for $310. She said “only if she does magic that’s insane!” So we’ll pass but she’s cute.

I love them but not in my price point. Due to the fact im buying summer from ag and the Sanderson sisters from my skullector line this year. Crossing my fingers for Pocahontas because she's my favorite. Do you think they'll ever do megara, Jane, alice, giselle and Esmeralda?

I am disappointed that there is not a more affordable Disney doll after waiting and waiting. Maybe they will be released soon though with different Disney characters. Elsa is who I thought Summer was going to be. They are beautiful dolls if you can afford them, we are priced out. Maybe we are beginning to have too many dolls everywhere anyway. Hope to maybe get a doll sometime soon. Also, not a huge fan of the Joss mold, Anna looks quite cute though. Elsa looks very gorgeous, a bit like Rapunzel. This was quite the surprise overall. I guess most of us will only peer through the looking glass.

I was on the fence about getting them only because I was never big into Frozen , but I decided at the price point for the last 3 Disney dolls I’d go for it, but $300 a piece that made me safe from buying . They are gorgeous,,, thanks for the update .

I love Anna's hair color!! 😃 Elsa's dress looks kinda cheap in comparison to Anna's outfit, I'm kinda disappointed in it. I might get Anna, but I think I'm gonna wait because I think they might be coming out in Playline soon. There was a post on eBay that looked like Elsa's purple Frozen 2 boots, by the seller that sells excess AG items. So it suggests that Play-line versions may be coming out soon.

Why do you think American Girl did zero press for this release? I don’t think we even got an email about this, and we are Berry members. I think it’s strange they don’t ever announce or promote this type of stuff. Zero marketing. If it wasn’t for coming across your video today, I would not have known.

Good upload. My thoughts are that each doll is a beautiful representation of the character. And I am disappointed in the price and limited edition. No one asked for the crystals. American Girl collectors asked for Frozen. A very few will get them across the board. From a customer service and sales perspective had they sold them at $135 each with bundle options and extra outfits, accessories the excitement and orders would have been outstanding. As it is the price tag and product limit will leave a lot of buyers and collectors , letting these dolls go (pun intended) which is unfortunate long as many have looked forward to this release.

Really annoyed with this.🙄 However I do think there’s a slight chance they’ll release frozen 2 Anna and Elsa as play line dolls. Kids are used to seeing frozen 2 as playline because that’s most of the dolls out now. Whereas adults who remember frozen 1 are now able to shell out for premium dolls. I think this would be a fine move to have these for collectors and then release play line frozen 2 dolls. Sad we’re not getting Olaf or a coronation dress

Ok, a few years ago I bought (Amazon) knock off Elsa and Anna costumes. They look pretty on the dolls and cost $44 total. Yes they are not embroidered and no crystals, but lots of sequins and they are play perfect. We added a beanie baby Olaf (perfect size). I just can’t see $620 for these.

I see I'm not the first to mention it.. but I'll post anyway. I also believe the Frozen girls will be made into "playline" dolls in the future. I am not a big Frozen fan, but I would love a doll that looks like Anna. She looks similar to Blaire, who is my favorite doll appearance-wise.. (not story/character). I do wish they were play dolls for children who love these characters. It is a bummer to feel like you "need" to spend over $300 for a character you and/or your child love. My favorite has always been Ariel. I remember wanting dolls, figurines, snowglobes, etc that cost absorbant amounts of money. 🫠

When do you think they will sell out

They could've sold them as playline dolls knowing how wildly popular the _Frozen_ franchise is with kids.

When Anna was frozen solid and Elsa saved her she was in her travel clothes and by Elsa unthawing her sister it also removed the white steak in her hair so yes this is still accurate it's just at the end of the adventure. Tbh I wasn't sure I'd like these dolls at first but now seeing them I love them.

Thank you for the psa, Anna was an instant purchase for me. I had an old code from the costco bundle that let me take $20, I'm assuming just bc the listing is new and they'll disable any kind of promotion with it later. I wish these were playline and I find it kind of anti-consumer that they don't repeat characters between playline and collector dolls. I certainly don't care about the crystals. But I love Anna and the joss mold too much to pass on this release. Elsa is a lil lame though lol. Personally I think sequins are an unacceptable design choice for a $310 doll

Thank you so much for posting! I'm glad they dropped before we went to AG Place NYC as I wouldn't have the funds after that. I have had our Shimmering Silver doll dressed like Elsa since the Disney Collab, and I feel like ours is nearly identical to AG's Elsa. So, I think Anna will be joining the doll family. ❄️🩷🩵 They are both great dolls.

I can’t wait to hear your thoughts. I was also surprised they have different faces, but I think I like it. Elsa looks so much like Rapunzel and the Silver LE doll that I am not sure I will get her. I am surprised there are fewer Annas. That means she will be more rare! I did order Anna. I remember when Frozen first came out, my red-headed daughter dressed up as Anna for Halloween that year. We made the white streak with a white ribbon! 😊

I love those dolls and have most of them along with my AG collection. When on sale they are coming home. Just love them they seem to have so much character and I think a great value for the money. Thank you!
