Not a woman, but I understand. I used to be extremely self conscious & believe I was impossible to love or be attractive to anyone. My first girlfriend proved me to be incorrect! When she first showed interest in me I thought "no way a pretty girl is actually attracted to me... This must be a cruel prank... Get me excited, reveal it was a lie & laugh at me!" Turned out it wasn't a prank. She was a Christian (I refuse to date non Christians) like myself, so our relationship was innocent. I believe the LORD arranged it so I'd realize everything I thought about myself was a lie I believed & perpetuated because of the bullying I went through. I'd begun to believe them. We're not together but the breakup wasn't nasty or anything. To me the most attractive trait a woman can possess is a fearless desire to know & share God's Word. That & intelligence make a woman far, far more attractive, far more beautiful than any other woman who lacks those traits. I'm praying that perhaps one day I'll find a woman like that, get married, you know? It's difficult to find actual Christian women these days with how the world is, so I've been alone for years. Some have said "well just date non Christians then!" Uhhh, no. That's a great way to damage your faith & more. If I'm not meant to marry... Well, I'll accept anything The LORD says or allows. It'll be lonely, but life isn't about "me me me I wanna have fun so much fun before I die one day yay" like so many think. I find you inspirational! Annette is quite scared, so much so that she's been asking for help understanding the Bible. We've been helping her. She's been a Christian for 60+ years, but the lukewarm kind, unfortunately. The cancer scare may have been a way to get her to decide to seriously get into The WORD. Oops, I ranted... Apologies. I've been fighting my tendency to do that. I've been improving. i used to put friends first...always put myself after. They needed something and ill be there. But noticed that i wasn't living and stopped. Put myself first and started to work on my goals. Friends started to call me a bad person and that i was busy now...but i didn't care no more because they were only taking advantage of my kindness. I realized that i have only one life and was wasting it, changed the mindset and now working on becoming the best version of myself.

I've been watching a lot of video where youtubers takes random videos and shows how is dating in US these days. Feminism did this to America, women are promiscuous and then men started to act like life is a big party, then you in the states started a lot of movements like MGTOW (men going their own ways), red pill comunity, hook up culture, passport bross, etc. Men don't seek commitment in the US, and when they want a woman to take serious, they go to another country like colombia, Philippines, or even here in Brazil, where we take commitment very seriously.
