If it was just a favour, of course, it's okay to react normally and not be offended but if such a phrase like "make me a sandwich" or so appeared when the man intended to insult you - it can easily be offensive. Indeed, it's always up to the person to be offended or not, to let people hurt you or not.
If you cant cook and dont have a job, what do you have to offer in a long term serious relationship? Its a joke... they get insulted by it because its sexism, legitimately sexism!

the fak? why is doing dishes or anything related a role thing?? never had a caring mother so I've been doing my own things since my early teenage years and I'm 101% ok with it.. and it's not a role thing it's called grow the fk up and do adult things
