Definitely. My favourite thing to do on Harray is launch the tube at Decca Bay and slowing float into Merkister Bay on a warm summer evening with a nice breeze. Absolutely magical.

It is surely Steven and it should be protected to keep it this way. Water quality is a big issue here in Ireland and I've seen a big decline in some of the wild brown trout lakes here in Ireland over the years. Orkney's brown trout lakes are top quality fisheries. Thanks for comment and watching 👍

The decline in sea trout numbers is due to the placement of salmon farms at the mouth of Killary fjord, large infestation of sea lice attack the sea trout smolts on their migration run and on their return as sea trout. Every sea trout fishery has collapsed in Connemara due to the placement of salmon farms. An environmental disaster 😢

@@JoeQuinnFollow_the_fln Yes, they need to go. There was an open letter circulated there to petition the minister not to renew the licence of the Killary salmon farm responsible for the latest disaster back earlier in August. Great video, thanks for sharing 👍

@highlandfishingdiary8818 that fishery is about 45 minutes from me, what I like about it is the fishing can be good with the dry fly, and plenty of room with only 3 boats available. I will probably put up another video where I was out on my own. Thanks for comment and watching 👍
