What a beautiful cat and you can’t beat a good day of wild trout fishing and the gift of the reel will bring you lots of luck and memories and thanks for sharing big like from me 🤝🇮🇪👏👏👏
Reminded me of a small river that I started to fish on in Co Wicklow 40 years ago, we also called the sea trout white trout. It still has wild brown and sea trout but it is very over grown now and almost to fish.
For fishing the nymph I use a long leader usually 20 feet plus. Because river was low I was fishing just 1 small beaded nymph. This method the fly line never passes through the tip. Thanks for comment and watching 👍
Not like what there is now when the river is at a low level, this river use to have ranunculus weed but it has disappeared altogether. It’s amazing the trout have survived as the upper reaches flows through the middle of ‘diesel laundering country‘ but still has great fly hatches, thanks for comment and watching 👍

Lovely video. I'm assuming you're using a floating line. What's your leader set up please? Love the rivers
