My New 1996 F250 7.3 OBS CCSB Walk Around

What exhaust is on there?
Love that truck, how is the ride with those new lift springs, where did you get them from, can you had shorter lift , like 2 or 3" only?
@@mauriciocastro6363 I’m blanking where I ordered them from. The ride is rough but that’s because it’s a old straight axle truck not the springs fault. And they were 4inch lift springs

They will but u will have to leave the axles out 😢..but they ain't made for 4wd just because of the transfer u will have to get a drop bracket foe the transfer I. Order for it all to work 😊

@@M33LTicket nope none needed just leave em out leave transfer where it is just delete axles and add the spindles and ur set to go

The 2024 last year model they took out the airlift no sunroof no heads up display not even a bedliner. for only 63k🙄

You still were able to use the factory shocks, it didn’t need lower shocks
As far as I remember we used the factory shocks but the kit came with a part you add for the factory shocks because they are adjustable

No, that’s the reason I went with the spindle lift. It let me back out the keys way more and have a lot nicer of a ride.

Very slightly at full lock but it’s not really a issue. I’m always willing to have a little tire rub for the right stance lol

Are the stock spindles aluminum and the belltech steel? They appear that way, how much heavier are they? This usually hurts performance as moving weight hanging from the wheel is detrimental
It’s been a while since we did this kit and I can’t even remember now. But the kit has been since with over 15k miles and it drives just fine

No
Are you going to install lights and a winch? Also, you can use the rear box for a trunk.

Appreciate it! I can’t remember exactly but I would say somewhere around 1300 total. All the parts were from rock auto. Not to bad of a price when you think about what you get out of it. Truck has another 20k miles now and still drives perfect. I’ll post another video soon it has bigger tires and a lift now. If you have any questions just let me know.
I'm buying my dream truck this winter as well but it's a 96 Crew Cab Long Bed 7.3 ZF5 Dually it's got a lil over 300k but it drives and runs great and shifts great, later it'll be a 12v Cummins swap and a G56 but I'm gonna run the 7.3 til she dies lol
A 12v in a obs ford is pretty much the perfect build. Nothing beats the sounds of a 7.3 at idle tho
You'll never swap it then if you "wait til it dies" LOL....why swap it anyways? The 7.3 is every but as good as the "Cumdumpster". The Cummins is over rated. Keep the 7.3 and build it. It will never let you down.
Hey man! Great video! I have an 07 duramax classic body style. Installed my mirrors exactly they way your described. Everything works.. except the backup lights. Which I find odd. After further investigation seems the trailer wiring in the rear of the truck is completely jacked up. Wires exposed, twisted together with just tape, Etc. Could this be the source of my problems? ( mirror LED not working in Reverse)?

today i lowered my gmc yukon with a 3/4 lowering kit but i have 24” wheels the tire is 305/35/24 my question is do i have to buy the springs to go up one inch in front?
Can i add springs on a tahoe, if they didn't come stock?
What do you mean like the rear springs? All these Tahoe came with springs in the rear from what I know.
