The Jinhao 65 works

I bought another cheap fountain pen. The Jinhao 65. It is a nice sleek mostly metal pen with a small plastic grip part which makes it somewhat usable for me. So I'm happy with it. A fine addition to my collection.

Honestly, this pen is just under 2 bucks with free shipping. Tho the plastic grip, imo could be made better with rubber, this one is very splendid for the body design and the materials alone.
It's like a Parker jotter fountain pen, but very very economical.

Have you ever tried the Sailor Fude Nib pen? It's Japanese so shipping might be more ok where you are. I heard that it's a good match with waterproof ink like your carbon.

The nib looks the same as the Jinhao 80. Can be replaced with Z50 Lamy nibs!!

Hello are they still not working? ( I take long to reply)
Have you tried different inks? ( Only use ink designed for fountain pens)
Cleaning the nib with some soap and water can also help remove any oil/grease that remains from its production. Sometimes it can take only a imperceptible amount of oil to stop a fountain pen from working. Not something I often have a problem with but it's worth a shot.
