Unless you want PvP there's literally nothing else that Destiny 2 does anywhere near as good as Warframe.

I have a bit over 18k hours on destiny and over 26k on warframe (yes i didn’t have much of a social life) and i have to say destiny 1 started me on the universe of this type of game it was amazing it will always have a place in my heart for how amazing it was and how much joy it gave me, but that doesn’t excuse what has become of it, yes it is an expensive game because not only you buy the game its pretty much a monthly subscription now, although dlc for destiny was always necessary it used to give you its price in content back “it was worth the price” describes it well, but now well, i quit destiny 1 year ago and if you intend on starting it now for the first time choose the better relationship the nicer and more welcoming game that tou have today, go warframe destiny is not a bad game it is quite fun but in my thousands hours of gameplay i have knowledge enough to say, it is not better than warframe in almost any aspect, the devs actually listen to you and they listen well it is worth the time investment, today i am extremely glad i manage to run away from my toxic relationship with destiny and i am glad warframe was there to support me afterwards

The fact that there is a crafting time is enough to get me to not play warframe. That is ABSOLUTELY a money grab. You get a weapon IN GAME and cant use it until its crafting time is up? Honestly the dumbest shit ive heard and enough to get me to never play warframe agian

I was a Day 1 Destiny Believer. I made it to Wrath of the Machine, and the game began to feel abusive. Wanting another SciFi looter...everyone said "try Warframe, it's similar and free" The ONLY thing I miss from Destiny is the RAIDs those were so fun with the dedicated group I had. Music in both games are excellent. But Warframe outperforms Destiny in every other way. Everything I read about the direction D2 went, and even tried it last year. it made me glad I bailed. WF evolved into WF2 in real time. And yes other players are really friendly. Chatting, trading, and chill. Becuase the game never pits players against eachother. A old Destiny homie, and battle buddy asked me during my transition "does warframe have a gun as cool as THORN!?" I looked him in the eye and responded "in warframe you can make a gun that behaves EXACTLY like THORN, and it would be the most boring weapon you could craft."...that blew his mind. I enjoy the lore of both games. But WF made me feel a while spectrum of emotions, sadness, empathy, betrayal, among others and deals with some weird cosmic horror/ psychological stuff. Destiny did that but only outside of the game.

The game that has been going since 2013, has NEVER shut down, has NEVER forced micro transactions, has quintuppled the amount of content, upgraded graphics, new releases every 6 weeks, and all of this under a game that ive yet to ever see advertised. WarFrame is the king of this genre. Oh, did i mention its all free? You only pay if you want. Its never actually needed. No P2W.

Warframe is free and only locks cosmetics and convenience behind paywalls Destiny isn't free (for me at the time when it wasn't ftp yet) and locks actual content and player power behind paywalls. FUCK DESTINY

i finished the star chart and unlocked steel path, I then stopped playing for a couple years, and more nodes were added, but i still had steel path access, and could jump right back in to warframe where i had left off. with destiny 2, if i didn't play for a week, I'd be too low level to play the stuff i wanted to.

Playing with a 4080 with setting on epic and running over 100 FPS (But its insane you need a beefy pc to even reach 60 fps), my biggest problem isn't that, but the insane rubberbanding going on, especially when in a squad. Playing on Western Europe so don't know if that is mostly a problem on our server, but my gods it's near unplayable at times. Like enemies just teleport at times. At the moment the AI is also very inconsistent in when it's getting killed. You can make headshot to drop them at once, but other times you unload a full clip in them and they still run around like nothing happened. Yet me and my buddy have great fun playing it together as we used to play Arma 3 a lot but not having the time anymore to play with a Milsim group.

From what I heard the devs said that it currently has 30% of the content that is planned to be in it by the time of full release. Thinking about it that way shows how much there is still to be had and it's quite impressive where the game already is, though currently it might not be worth buying.

Destiny is a 3 course meal where keep switching up the individual dishes all the time. Nothing beats D2’s curated content like GMs, Raids and Dungeons. Yet the experience is one that makes you feel like you missed out if you don’t always come back. Oh buddy you missed that awesome steak last night and now eat shit because we got way better than what you can get now

I am gonna comment while watching the video and add my thoughts onto this with timestamps: 0:00 - This is odd and I do not understand why BSG chose to handle it that way. Forty One (the voice actor of USEC3 aka "Josh") stated that he recorded voice lines for the co-op mode back in 2019. So, it was planned all they way along. 1:44 - I have mixed feelings about this one. I have a friend of mine who is a literal gigachad in Tarkov with 80+ mills roubles and cases with guns and other high-end level gear. But the dies constantly and somehow only gains few wins. I do not know what the average Tarkov player's performance is like, but I just think that having a bigger stash is not an advantage many make it to be. Personally I played only on a standard account, while having an EOD account. Generally, I never ran into issues with my stash size, and gear I lost mostly returned through insurance so I could keep progressing and emptying my stash along the way. A bigger stash makes it more convenient but I still would lose gear and gain no advantage except having more empty space overall. Because even though my survival rate is pretty high I lose a lot and get rid of items I do not need regularly. 3:20 / 3:50 - Fully agreeing there because that is the main criticism of the P2W argument. Same for the already good standing with traders in the EOD edition. This is P2W because you pay skip the progression and immediately jump into the area where I usually see LVL 25 to 30 players be. This is insane and should not be possible or a thing. To the rest I have nothing to add. I agree 100%. Especially the lack of Arena is hilariously bad... It is so sad and just outrageous.

I always wanted to try Tarkov but then I remember how shit I am at FPS and see the base price and hear that literally everyone is cheating so I'll have to buy a cheat pack on top and it just turns me off. Now I hear it's even more pay to win and you have to be a massive wallet is just a hard no.
