Chilling in the mournes
Приєднався 23 сер 2009
Hi i will be staring a vlog sometime in march 2021. I build houses for a living. ME and my father work together which if any of yous have done know its near impossible to do. I do most of the manual work and he does most of the paperwork. You ask sure this isnt nothing out of the ordinary only difference is that i do all of the building stages myself. I am a bricklayer (Mason) by trade. I will be doing the blockwork in the foundation myself after that pouring the finished floor myself. here in ireland stick frame has become popular however the frame comes factory made but i will be constructing the frame onsite myself erecting it myself and roofing it myself. I will also be doing the electric work and plumbing insulation and drywall all single handly. all of the machine driving is done by myself or my father. we also do all of the grounds works outside ourselves this includes the drainage piping kerbing putting in the roads and sowing out the garden if interested please subscribe

Does anybody know where to get the metal piece that holds the gun to the spring at? I ran threw 3 already breaks everytime after 2 months used everyday
Don't know dude,
what type of roof tiles are they that ur using ?
Flat black, breedon tiles
Hi do you have a Damp proof membrane under that slab ?
No spm under subfloor, the radon barrier is also a dpm, however insulation is placed into of radon barrier and then another vpour barrier then the finnished floor
Then finnished floor onto
I’m not familiar with SPM, what is that
@@cptdo dpm, damp proof membrane
Atta boy
❤😮
Where are your valley tile clips instead of using cheap silicone ? No silicone manufacturer guarantees there products for more than 7 years.
The tile cuttings are supported from below the next tile above is covering it on top, the tile sits against the upstand of the valley, how is it possible that it would ever move,
Hack
If you say so
I’d say the roof took years to complete
Na mate, do e it myself had 2400 tiles, dry verges dry valleys on and cut in ridge on in 5 days by myself, I didn't think I did to bad, plus if your roof set out right the cuts are a repeat pattern so you only have to measure once was the first 4 cuts in this case then repeat the 4 cuts the same,

Is it recommended to use oil for this product?
Yes, I have an oiler built into airline at the compressor
Is it the local planning department who determine you finished floor level relative to some point? I am also thinking of hiring a digger and doing the footings myself on my forthcoming self build. Do you think i am mad or is using the digger quite straightforward?
the likelihood thay Noone would every know if your house is at the correct level, but people can be quite troublesome and if they where not happy with you building they will find every reason to stick it to you, when your plans are submitted it shows ffl above sea level then planning will tell you your maximum permissible ridge height, if you ever had problems with neighbors when building,(I have before, it can get very ugly and stressdul, it is best to stick to the levels submitted on your plans rather than having the stress of having to fight and argue your case, I know a local builder who had to remove the entire top floor of his house as he was a meter to high, the neighbor tried to hold him to Ransome to buy his land at an extortionate price he told him no, when he refused, he reported him to planning, planning ruled in vavour of the neighbor, his choice was to demolish the whole building and start agin or remove the top floor, the house was 100% finnished he took a crane in and lifted the whole roof of removed the 2nd floor and popped the roof back on, so better to stuck to what's on paper
If you are competent with a digger it's no to hard to do, on the other hand if you don't dig level and straight and knock aload of trench in you could very quickly double the price of your concrete bill,
@@conormac2010 I might see if I can get on a one day course.
Thanks for sharing. First video I've found where you mentioned everything is relative to finished floor level 👏
What blade you using m8
Got in screwfix, erberu
Hi Conor - we'd love to talk about some trade content, do you have an email address at all?
No top hats needed for pipe penetrations, just use the solshield or GP1 S.A.M
Building control in my area asks for top hats
Building control in my area for gas barrier requires tophats to much hassle to deviate from acredited details
Love this memory 😂❤
❤❤❤
Woha I think it would have been easier to add a frame and glue/nail it to get that depth effect
Do you what, as soon as I read that, I was like wtf, I'm a dummy, I'll put it down to being in a hurry l, we bought booked the boat to sail to Europe 4 weeks after we purchased it so everything was super rushed,
Каркасный дом строите на армированную бетонную плиту,не на ленточный фундамент.какая толщина бетонного основания?
Yes, first of all ww do strip foundation, 600mmx225mm that is sufficient for pur area, we don't have cold weather, then we build 450mmx300mmx100mm concrete blocks to get to the desired height, if the concrete blocks is 450mm or less above the original clay soil level we can use 150mm slab woth 193 steel mesh, if the original clay soil lever is more than 450mm we have to use 225mm slab with 393 steel mesh, a gas barrier which is also damp membrane is put on top of sub slab then insulation then we ould put another damp membrane and a further 100mm of concrete for out finnished floor
There's a lot quicke4 ways
why don't the English put osb plates
Do you mean sarking?
osb panels
@slavkoljiljak2910 sarking is used sometimes, usually on costal areas where high winds are common, I'll be starting my own house soon, I will be sarking with osb as it is a far better job and provides a lot of strength,
Hi…if the top ball gets jammed in the pump can I access it?
Not 100 sure, is it the ball on top of the suction tube? Or is there another 9ne you are referring to?
@@conormac2010 they’re should be two of them, one at the lower end of the pump packing and another small one above it. It’s the small one I was wondering about
@@JohnMartin-oh6bf don't know haven't had any problems with Machine yet, hopefully don't have to strip it for a while yet
@@conormac2010 ok thanks…just been messaged by Qtech and they maintain it can be accessed thru the gearbox, which is good. Thx for the replies

Reminds me of when michael Jackson held his infant out a higher story apartmentwindow to show the world how attention stupid he was.

Thanks for your videos. It’s great knowing how these things are done.
Do you have to lay blocks on the flat with all foundations?
Yes I do, leaves it easier for filling up with hardcore,
Tìles sticking up second course
Pull your pants up
lol , get r done !!
$44 on Amazon in USA. Recommended operating pressure: 70-120 PSI. My small Porter Cable Air Compressor 6 gal 150 psi will be plenty of power to run this. Also, this gun is all aluminum - sturdy and light at 4 lbs. Nice one!
It's a handy tool, it's great if your doing projects from reclaimed wood,
Promo>SM 😌
Will definitely leak
Don't think
Don't think so
Bad job

Nice idea and About all those saws are good for👍
Totally agree about the saw, to be honest I have 3 of them and the only purpose they where but for was to cut waste timber for the fire, I also learned while doing this that the cut is a repeat pattern, on this roof ever 5 tiles goes back to the first cut so you could cut them all without going on the roof after you done you fist 5 tiles
😂 mine is for fire wood too! I've got 6 dormers on our home build at the moment and a big gable end. Similar tile too German planum crest. A lot of cutting but at least the valleys are the same so I've got a pattern. I bought an 18v DeWalt 5" grinder with a decent blade and take it up with me, works a treat for any alterations. 👍
Was soll das denn sein? Kein lotstrich geschnürt für gerade steinreihen! Keine konterlattung für Hinterlüftung gegen Feuchtigkeit und Wärme
Plumbing lines are already stricken on the battens, in UK we put ventilation in rafters, there is a 50mm space under the membrane for air ventilation
So would this be considered a spring accuated, hydraulic release system?
It's a cable, cable pulls mechanism tight when handbrake pulled
I want living this life ❤
😊
The gun is listed as a 36-degree gun, will it shoot 33-degree nails?.
Yes, It will
Will it also accept 35 degree nails?
