In the cutscene after you first sleep with him, there's a dialogue option for you to say, "Did you enjoy it? It felt like you weren't really there." He writes it off as holding back so he didn't accidentally hurt you, but after I got further into his questline I realized what was actually going on and I was so upset with myself for going along with it. I'm not sure if you can get the romance without sleeping with him first, but it's kind of hard to enjoy knowing what you know now.

the Cazador line was really mean, I'm surprised it didn't upset him

1:30 So it is possible for Astarion to become a vampire, due to the tadpole a lot of restriction that come with a vampire are lifted. Cazador can't command him and he is able to do stuff that would require permission. Even if he decided not to ascend all he needed was to drink Cazador's blood to become a true vampire.

What makes this funny to me is that he's 100% justified in being angry. How would YOU react if someone set off a powerful superweapon while you were in the blast radius?

Regardless of what play through I’m doing (good, evil, bloodthirsty homicide) I draw the line at harming children or cute animals. I refuse to do either. I have yet to have either try to attack me so this likely won’t change. Besides, because I knew the mother owlbear had a cub I refused to attack her. The cub still ended up with me though cuz the goblins apparently killed her.

I let the mother live. Speak with Animals -Ritual Cast every day. She was like "stranger danger, no tuch my baby!” Im like... Okay. Left, toppled a bunch of goblins at the camp to find out they killed the mom and abducted the baby, And I was like you poor fuzzy baby come with me, camp has scritches and head pats.

I'm surprised he doesn't get mad at Tav and doesn't leave the group permanently for that line about "Cazador's targets". It's such a horrible cruel line. It feels even a bit out of character that he seems to be unbothered by it at all (or it's the only time when he's good at hiding his real feelings).

Scratch is likely the bestest boi ever, such polite and happy doggo. His tail wagging is so cute. If anything, the reason why I cannot turn evil is because I don't wanna disapoint or mistreat him. I also don't turn into a squid because that could make me forget him.

What i love about this is that astarion is actually really good about saying thank you. He probably says it more than any other companion so his reaction to being reminded is just pure pettiness lmao

If you read the book yourself and pass all the checks then you can sacrifice the thing the book gives you when you get to the mirror of loss for the extra ability score instead of giving up another stat

I did not get this interaction. I had Gale with me along with astarion. His reaction was pretty funny, not like this though. Just, ha a building got dropped on me, type funny. Astarion was the same. I wonder if it has something to do with approval level.
