Welcome to my channel, The World and Alex.
My name is Alex, and in December of 2023, I quit my job, sold my apartment and all my belongings to pursuit a lifelong dream of traveling full time.
The idea of traveling solo, as a middle-aged man, is both exciting and daunting, so I decided to bring my camera, and document my experiences. Not only to share my journey but also in the hopes of showing how amazing and wonderful traveling and the world truly is. 🌍
My goal is to visit the traditional sights as well as the lesser-known places - on a budget - and do some volunteer work with animals whenever possible.

19 Hours on a Ferry From Osaka (Japan) to Busan (South Korea).
I took the ferry from Osaka in Japan, to Busan in South Korea. It was a 19-hour overnight journey, and it cost about the same as a flight.
I got my own cabin, and it was including dinner and breakfast.
Furthermore, I got exquisite views along the way. If you have the time, I definitely recommend taking this route (and experience) instead of flying.

I took the sleeper train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. The journey took just under 13 hours, and I was pleasantly surprised about the comfort and standard of the train. First time seeing one of your vlogs. You seem a lovely guy. Great job presenting India in all its contrasting glory. Sad that it was such a short visit as there is so much to see in Delhi. I agree with you on the Delhi Red Fort, good to visit the outside and around the entry gate but Agra's Rad Fort is far more interesting to visit. Keep up the good work!

April and May are the hottest months in India! Last time I went was March of 2022 and it was the hottest March on record in 211 years! It was averaging 38-43 degrees 😅😅😅 so April/May temperatures. It is hot but it’s nice cause there’s less people around 😂

The sweat is real! When we did it we had stinking hot weather on the way up, then torrential rain at the top! Yours looks much more pleasant.
