Just got done watching the World Is Not Enough and came across this video. If I’m ever in the UK 😏

And now at the very time that we need our £3bn supercarrier, its stuck out of the water in a Scottish dry dock being surveyed for the catastrophic damage to its underwater gear ......Great ! Whether it can be repaired satisfactorily to ever go to sea again remains to be seen . I have my doubts as the relatively flimsy exposed rudders props and shafts have in this case been totaly overlooked during the build . I reckon , she has clobbered her starboard shaft by hitting an underwater obstacle that has shook the ship to bits as if the propellor became horribly out of balance , it would have the corresponding damage right up to the gearbox and engine which would have been revolving at speed and thereby shaking the whole engine assembly, and drive train , not to mention the ships main frames and bearing housings , all of which might never be able to be straightened , certainly not enough to go to war in .

Need aressting wires as it can take most of nato planes as it is the NATO flgship

As an Island kid in the 1960s we would be on this beach most Sundays in the summer, between Appley and Puckpool beach, and used to bring my kiddies here in the 80s/90s best beach for small kiddies on the Island

At first I was confused as I was sure Gosport was on the wrong side of the exiting boaty, then read you blurb, I didn't know P'mouth harbour was that big. Then I realised the crew were standing all around it, even atop the flight ramp. I must have an odd brain as my mind then drifted to wondering how many needed to 'go' but could not step out of line to visit the head ! Great watching this, presume from steeple; I would normally go down the front and watch from my car as I did with it arriving, missed the departure so thanks for this.

As someone who was at the 1969 Isle of Wight Festival - where I saw Julie and Bob Dylan - it was an honour for me to secure a booking her to return to play the Isle of Wight Festival again in 2010, and to looks after her that day. I found her a lot of gigs from 2000 onwards, and I tour managed her in Ireland many times... Man, we had fun. She could certainly drink copious amounts of Guinness!!!!! Bless her, she passed away only a few months after the event in this video. R.I.P, Julie, I sure do miss you... x
