    Just a tip. Its best you let the drain plug and filter drain out at the same time, or drain the filter first. If you close the plug first and then loosen the filter, more oil will want to come out

      It’s definitely a new school deal. According to Jeff at Westcott Designs, he has great taste and the “new” best looking wheel offset was +35. He ran a set of Method 703’s a tacoma build and was able to clear 35s with a 2.5/.75 inch lift front then rear. I’m going to post a video soon of the RC $99 4th gen tacoma lift. • @beamanofgoodcharacter
      @beamanofgoodcharacter 4 місяці тому

      @@cbayless4294 You are funny and apparently did not get what I was trying to say. The pricing of the new Toyota cars and trucks is outrageous. It does not matter how good the new Tacoma is compared to the old one (not that the old one is a bad truck, but it's seating position is terrible for example, and/or 16/17 models had too many problems, or their A/C does not cool well, especially if you live in one of the southern states, and there were other major issues that I do not want to discuss). So my question is what is the point buying a new Tacoma, which will have monthly payments like you have a second mortgage, and even if you pay $60k out-the-door, you will have at least 8 blank buttons remind you that you were poor and could not afford one with more options. For example, the trim I like is the TRD-Off road with the premium package. Before tag, tax, dealer and license fees that thing is $54k. It is basically a base model truck with 4x4, better audio system and larger screen. I paid for 2021 Tundra Limited CrewMax 4x4 with the Premium package, and real leather upholstery 51k. That Tacoma costs more than my Tundra. My Tundra will eat alive that Tacoma and it is $3k cheaper. Let's go back to the two Tacoma comparison: the new Tacoma looks great, so the previous gen Tacoma looks great, both trucks look really well (if you ask me, the old one looks much better IMO). The new Tacoma interior looks okay, so the previous one looks okay, I like a bit better the old Tacoma's interior, but it is me, I like more classical look. The difference between the new one and the old one is that the new one has a better sitting position and better seats, but I believe the old Tacoma has more room in the second row. The new Tacoma's engine has more torque and it is more fuel efficient, but the old one's engine is more reliable. However, it has this stupid Atkinson cycle that ruins that engine. If they had put the normal 3.5L engine in the Tacoma and the Tundra's 6 speed auto without that learning feature (I am talking about the Tacoma you have), it would have been a much better truck than the 2024 Tacoma. My issue with the 3rd gen Tacoma is mainly with the stupid transmission and the Atkinson cycle engine. The weak A/C can be fixed by adding a second fan kit, and If I buy the 3rd gen Tacoma, it will be with the manual transmission, I will be fine with that truck. BTW, I am only 5.7 and the sitting position does not bother me at all. The one thing that bothers me is when the engine is revving and the truck is not moving (too slow for my taste and too noisy and the transmission constantly is thinking what gear to be in). Otherwise, I would choose the 3rd gen Tacoma over the 2024 Tacoma anytime. My son is graduating in couple years and if he wants a truck, the 3rd gen Tacoma would be a good choice for him, but only manual, I am not going to let him buy the one with the auto transmission.

      @@beamanofgoodcharacter What your forgetting is 1st year of new model on the taco. The tundra had big issues with the V8 and some in the 22 new model V6. I would love a 20-21 Tundra with the V8. When I was in need of a vehicle in late 22 they where long gone and the V6 turbo I didn't want. Heck it took me 4 months to find my OffRoad in lunar rock and I had to drive 3 hours to North Dakota to get it. Was told by the 6 Toyota Dealerships in my area it was a 2-4 year wait. No way I was getting the new 2023 4th gen. If I knew I had another year I would have looked for the Pro. It doesn't matter what you buy your screwed for overpriced untested Junk!! In Minnesota they only last 5-8 winters until the frame is rusted out. So I put Blaster Surface Shield on right away and it's dirty looking under there but no rust. The OTT tune helped big time on Trans that was also killing me, but I was getting 22-24mpg now with tune 17-19 but worth it. I love my 22 except for the dam short bed!! Thanks for bring up some good points and take care!!! See you on the next comment.

      Seems a little high. But I would think that it’s fine. Maybe some sort of vacuum leak in the cold start system. I probably wouldn’t worry about it since it goes to Normal idle when it warms up. It might be an expensive fix and you’d be throwing darts at it trying to pinpoint the exact problem. Shotgunning parts at it isn’t a good idea either. Maybe take it to a tuning shop and see what they say

    Shop Vac half full of water, point the nozzle at the entrance of the nest amd turn on the vacuum. When they fly out, into the black hole they go.

      I could see how that might work, but the other day I bumped the building with my tractor a little and went crazy! Started dive bombing me, I had to hop off my tractor and get the F outta there. Then the day before this video was shot my wife got stung. She said it was really painful and she’s a tough person. Two days later and the sting site was still hurting. I can imagine get stung a bunch of times. That could get out of hand real fast. So I went the safe route. I knew this would work, that gave me confidence to get in there and do it. Results are there. It couldn’t of turn out better. If I have to deal With another nest, I will do it this same exact way. Thanks for your input though. Much appreciated!
