Your gameplay is the funniest that I've watched so far of Pokemon Violet dude, keep going. Really happy that my algorhytm found you when you posted the first video of this game (watching you since that).

You GOTTA watch the series (ik ur a gamer, but Pokemon X and Y is too good). I recommend watching all 3 of the X and Y installations, X/Y (S17), X/Y: Kalos Quest (S18), and X/Y/Z (S19). For Pokemon, most of the time it doesn't matter what order you watch the seasons in, just the episodes since it's a full reboot every season unless it's based off the same game (S17-S19 is all based on the Pokemon game Pokemon X&Y so no reboots in-between those 3) also, at 27:12, a 10,000,000-volt thunderbolt is a reference to the strongest move used by a non legendary Pokemon (anime wise, it was season 21 I believe), used by Pikachu (of course) 28:20 calling THE GEETA (Top Champion) "someone" is insane

Fun facts! - Ground moves are super-effective against the Electric type, but Iono's Mismagius has "Levitate" as its Ability giving it complete immunity to Ground moves (similar to Flying types, which have immunity to Ground just by default). Smart play by her! - Poke Dollars are based on Japanese Yen, so when something like the Smoke Ball is listed at 15,000, ignore the last two digits and think of it more like "150.00 dollars" not "15,000 dollars". - Some Pokemon, like Tauros, do not have a stronger form to evolve into, but their stats (for the same level) tend to be better than other Pokemon who can. - If you view your Pokemon's Status screen and go to their "Moves" page, there is a button to "change Moves". One of the options is called "Remember a move" which allows you to teach them any move that they could normally learn upon leveling up -- and there are sometimes moves that can _only_ be obtained through this method.

Useful to know -- damaging moves come in two Categories: *"Physical"* and *"Special".* "Physical" draws power from the user's "Attack" stat, but is reduced by the target's "Defense" stat. Similarly, "Special" draws power from the user's "Sp.Atk" stat but is reduced by the target's "Sp.Def" stat. A Pokemon's attack and defense stats will sometimes favor one Category over the other -- for your Pokemon, you can check this on their status screen (in or out or combat). No need to fuss over their _exact_ stat numbers, just give them a quick glance to see if they're fairly balanced, or if one is noticeably higher than the other. Knowing this preference can help you get the most out of whatever moves a Pokemon might want to learn.

Heres another helpful tip for you: STAB (Same-Type Attack Bonus) is when your pokemon uses a move that matches it’s type. this makes the move a little bit stronger. for example, Floragato (grass type) using solar beam (grass type move) vs charizard (A fire type) using solar beam, floragato using the move would deal more damage than charizard. This is great for signature moves that your floragato will learn once it evolves.

If you want to learn more, I recommend watching MandJTV (on UA-cam). He has lot's of educational Pokemon videos, also WolfeyVGC, one of the best Pokemon players, and champion of multiple tournaments (many players from around the world meet up irl, link their games, and battle for the title of world champion). You can learn a lot, it's how I learned to beat the entirety of Pokemon Sword in like, 5 hours (Edit Below) You can catch all the titans once you beat them all, return to the location you found them, they also have a special badge (badges explained: you can equip them, and it gives a special tag. Example: a Floragato with the sleepy tag; which can only be caught at night; will be called "Floragato the Sleepy" once sent out, and a Titan Klawf will be called "The Titan Klawf". Badges are very rare, and almost none of them are guaranteed, so make sure to catch the titans!)

People's first time playing a Pokémon game is always so lovely and interesting to see! The veteran community is way too harsh on certain aspects of the new games imo, watching someone who isn't experienced in the field playing through one shows how most complaints are actually biases caused just by us having gotten extremely familiar with the formula and therefore losing the chance of feeling unprepared or cornered in most scenarios.
