I regret not mixing moss into my cattlyea bark mix I used for mine. but I do live in a humid place by the beach so maybe ill be ok

Thank you for a great video! Do you have any tips or thoughts on growing orchids in windows with radiators underneath? I'm worried the warm air will mess with my orchids if I keep them on the windowsill. It seems like your window don't have a radiator under it but here all the windows do so I'm not sure what to do about it. I've searched for information about this but haven't really found anything about it yet.

Yes, this is really a beautiful Brassolaelio Cattleya. It is very big and vibrant yellow and purple. I have it at home and waiting for it to bloom again. Thanks for sharing.

Hi! I've just purchased a Cattleya tenebrosa and your video helped me decide to do it. I'm into getting to know it's fragrance and I think it's a really different and interesting specie. I don't know if it also happened to you, but I found out my taste regardind orchids is changing. I didn't appreciate the appearance of Catleya tenebrosa until recently. I wanted to know if you can help me with my Coelogyne Flaccida, which is low temperature demanding too and perhaps from the same kind. Now she is in rest, I bought it 3 months ago, and she does NOTHING at all which is strange for me since it´s the only one with that characteristics that I have. Some of the old leaves are getting yellow... is it normal? But mainly I wanted to ask you about how little to wet her: once every....? I´m used to shorten waterings in orchids but I don´t have any other with a period of rest; this is the first one. In the end, I must tell you that I live in Argentina, and we´ve got very hot days in summer (with very long days obviously) and very cool winters, as this one, with about 5 degrees Celsius some days and nearly zero today. Anyway it can raise up to 10 or 12 in a few days. (Now I have it in my laundry room, with enough 40/ 50% of light up to the days become a little bit warmer). So, I think it can be a very good climate for her, according to what you say in the video: a lot of direct? sun in summer and a high drop in winter. My question then was about the WATERING in winter, if you´re so kind. Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi I liked your dendrobium very much, when I bought my dendrobium there were buds on plant but no leaves,now the blooming is over and then also no new leaves are coming,but a new kekie is coming from the bottom,so suggest something that my dendrobium also have leaves

I did not realize how big this plant is and how wonderful its flowers will look. I had mine for close to 5 years and has not flowered once. I got it as a young plant and it is my only orchid left out of the 90 or so I had in the past. Most died from a blight, mice eating them, and some just could not adjust.

Absolutely STUNNING ! Now... I Have to start buying Dendrobiums to add to my Orchid addiction.
