Please help I’m literally doing a Forward HK like 70% of the time instead of the flash kick… for Flash kick cancel into super, and sometimes I do a sonic boom in combos instead because the forward button gets pressed. Notations say: F HK > Up Forward, I really don’t get it, I’m pressing up and forward at the same time and HK, I use PS4 D-Pad
A couple of things that could be happening: 1- you might be pressing HK a bit earlier 2- your charging time isn't enough 3- you're holding Down instead of down/back for the charge 4- you're taking too long to do the flash kick motion after the charge Try those and see if any works for you
@@reckless_x I nailed it brother, thank you for your time and effort to reply, and make this video for all of us to watch and learn. So it was literally #1 + my thumb was kinda like “hovering” from down + back to up + forward, for anyone having the same issue, you show release your thumb and hit up + forward + HK very quickly then Back + Forward + HK fast. Or any kick really but always go heavy for more damage from flash kick and I find it easier to click R2 with my middle finger, while my left hand thumb is doing the D-pad work. Guile is very complex and honestly takes a long time to master.

Hey Reckless can you please tell how to pull off the crouching medium kick into the od dragonlash. I’m having difficulty on this specific trial you did. I don’t know the best way to set up my run buttons
1- You can press down medium kick then go for the dragonlash 2- input down/forward medium and do a hadoken-like motion 3- down/forward medium kick followed by down forward + Double kick. It's a trick, because when down/forward is done twice it counts as if you had inputted a shoryuken motion

I usually press heavy kick + medium kick, that's what I feel most comfortable with, you can try different combinations and see what's best for you

Err of you want a cue to help you for a little while then you can. Switch on action timing in the training options. Its built in. I assure you i always drop those one
Insane?? Paul with same launcher, 13 dmg with 10 hits wall carry, no heat system, can do 75 Dmg no walls and good wall carry

Doing it all the time wouldn't be wise, but it can be worthy going for if it's gonna kill And pretty sure some people can get creative with that idea and extract more damage with less resources. Never have I mentioned anything about optimal though

@@bigpapacheese7146 haha pretty much It's not ideal, but I think it's better to guarantee the round rather than take it for granted And I only wish sub zero wasn't so bad at dealing damage, that's why I only play him for fun, never used him on rank, not even once lol

Fine timing is not necessary. Just double tap all the inputs or just MP depending on your comfortability

Occasionally. If you started with 2HP be mindful not to go to 4. Aim for 5 if possible when you input KK for run. Usually how it tends to happen.

lol it'll take you lots of practice to pull it off, it seems For me it was super hard at first. It took me a couple weeks to feel comfortable with the motions and timings
So like help me get this lol are you saying that when you hold the charge for down back. And stand up for neutral light kick. The light kick is still holding the down back???for you to press up and punch button??

whenever i do a flash kick into level 3 super, i dont get the full cutscene version. its just like a quick version which i think does less damage. what am i doing wrong?
Nothing wrong with that It's just some situations lead to that level 3 super with no full cutscene, specific combos and/or hits make it not to come out Same happens to Ken's level 3 super, for example
Claudio Is my main from the First release of Tekken 7. In Tekken 7 i think that he Is One of the most powerful characters ever, in Tekken 8 i think Claudio Is Op and i think he Will definetly receive a Nerf before the official launch of the game.

I don't believe there's such a thing, to tell you the truth Those skills come from many hours of practice, not necessarily any tricks with the controller

I really need to get that standing LK cancel down. It's so useful when trying to check if someone is walking back. Cr. LK will check low followed by Cr. LP, then if you need a third light to confirm it has to be standing LK, nothing else reaches and can be canceled. Triple Cr. LK just isn't scary and trying to confirm off only Cr. LK, Cr. LP is dicey both in terms of charge time and in terms of actually confirming the hit. Drive rush is an option that doesn't need anything fancy but it is expensive.
In practice mode, that should be quite easy to pull off On actual matches that would need a total different level of dedication to pull off consistently, though But pretty sure you'll get that hang of it. Just like you mentioned, using drive rush to extend combos after Cr.LP is quite expensive, and it isn't that worth, unless you're 100% certain it will finish the round
As a Guile main, this put a smile on my face! 😊
well that was really helpful. its way easier to do the sonic boom WITH low kick than it is to release to neutral, hit low kick and then hit forward. Now i can combo these with ease!

For doing those I'd recommend mastering perfect sonic boom and regular sonics in order to choose between them at your will I've never tried any of those loops, but some loops might have those normal booms
@@reckless_x I got the perfect book down just the timing and linking them w the strikes is difficult w me.
Try practicing isolated chunks of that combo, that should help with the muscle memory to attempt going for the whole thing
