The way i see it, even if Jayden's brain damage is temporary he is still stuck in the same loop of take drugs to fight hallucinations but at risk of addiction or don't take drugs but risk brain damage through exposion to ARI. in "Resignation" he fails at his job and quits but he is also free to move on with his life as he sees fit. That freedom is worth more than fame at cost of mental health in my opinion.

That's why the showrunners messed up big time when they didn't give Sunfyre a grand introduction scene during Aegon's coronation, Sunfyre according to the Book went through a lot, It had a crucial role, it deserved a grand intro in Ep9 similar to Syrax in the opening, but again, that whole episode was weird and inaccurate on every level

“The people are retarded”, the show just emphasises and exaggerates the faults of the green side. Aegon is was not a rapist yes he spent a lot of time at brothels but that doesn’t even compare, Cole is an honourable knight who tries to do the right thing for the kingdom the show proceeds to give him no honour and make him just a pawn who just follows the Green council, Otto gets undeserved hate even in the show nothing he does is that wrong yes he is ambitious but the things he suggests is best for the realm like Aegon being named heir would have prevented the Dance and a potential civil war if Rhaenyra did become Queen and died and Jace was still her heir, he dislikes Daemon and is wary of him for good reason Daemons actions are sus, he is a bit of a cold father but he secures the, greatest possible marriage a high born girl could hope for, for his daughter. He gets a lot of hate for that but Corlys escapes the criticism even though he was willing to marry of his 12 year old daughter.
