Collective Consciousness is my favorite Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance song. It deserved special treatment and that is exactly what it got. I decided to focus a lot on the dystopia and 1984 feeling this song gives you by repeat the 'Let Your country Control Your Soul" line and modify as best i could while also combining the demo and maniac vocals through out the song. I do not own anything. All credit goes to composer Jamie Christopherson. Sadly i had to reupload this video 3 times because of a copyright claim. (i also fixed a small mistake i made lol). Hey, sorry for being late. You weren't lying when you said I'll enjoy this! This is amazing, probably my new favourite remix of the song. I really really really loved the demo version being mixed in there, it gives it a certain amount of emotion that the regular lyrics do not carry, maybe that's just me, but I like how raw the demo vocals are. I could praise the whole thing, but this part 2:50 is by far my favourite, it 's so simple, but so creative that it makes this my new favourite part of any remix of the song. Every other remix is now worse, because they do not have this. The beat drops as he speaks makes them feel like a part of the songs. It was really amazing and refreshing to hear something like that. You just keep on surprising me with your ingenuity for these songs! Definitely a huge improvement! Great work! Have a good one!
Thanks mate! The part at 2:50 came to me as i was analyzing the isolated drums and was definitely a very nice synch. The song could not be complete without it. I also could not help but use demo vocals because 'the human heart is obsolete' is too badass of a line to not use. I am glad you enjoyed this one friend took me a lot of work but i am satisfied with the result since this is by far my favorite song in the game. The Hot Wind Blowing is coming next this week and i assure it will be amazing, but after that i think i am done with Metal Gear Rising.
