It’s bird migration time. I was out in the garden and delighted to see 1,000 pink footed geese flying over my garden on their way to the Dee Estuary on the Wirral, Cheshire, England. Filmed in October, 2024
These geese spend the Summer in Iceland and South Greenland and migrate in the Autumn to warmer parts of Europe. We are lucky here as a good proportion of the half million pink footed geese migrate to Britain with a high percentage of them staying in the North-West of England.
