      Good evening sir Paul, greetings from Brazil.
      I believe to be the same bitrate of TC02.
      Even though it is HEVC in 4K, the bitrate is very low.
      The TC06 in 4K that I have records at 32 Mbps in HEVC, very good quality. I only use it in 4K.
      Thanks for the great review.

    Good evening sir Paul, greetings from Brazil.
    I like your reviews as they are very detailed in the information.
    I congratulate you for all your work in recording and editing, very professional.
    I particularly don't like Non-Glow cameras, I prefer red-glow cameras, they record night videos much better, but I understand the use for specific cases of Non-Glow.
    The audio is simply wonderful, without noise, it reminds me a lot of my TC06.
    The video quality of the TC21 during the day is great.
    My TC06 records 4K in HEVC at 32 Mbps, phenomenal quality.
    Thanks a lot for the review.
    Yours sincerely.
    Erik from Brazil.

    I mostly use my trail cameras in the woods, which means this one would probably not fare well since there wouldn't be much sun to recharge the battery. Also, I was hoping for more night vision to test distance. I have a couple of very cheap cameras that have excellent night vision if the animals are in the distance. My WoSport does well only when the animal is confined to a small area around the camera (just like you have set up with this Campark). Also, I prefer to use bungee cords so I need to see the back of the camera to see if there are loops for them to attach to. No one ever shows the back.

    • @paultreviews
      @paultreviews  18 днів тому +1

      As you need plenty of power as your cameras are in the woods, I’d agree that an integrated solar panel plus backup batteries would be ideal. Check out my other reviews - particularly my last one of the CY95 - I also show the back of the camera to give a really good idea of its possibilities.

    Great video I don’t think I’d be able to get this going without your instructions. I have a couple questions what app do you use for this camera? And how do you turn the camera on? It goes off after the two minutes when placed outside? Does it just automatically start filming when it sensesmovement? Thanks!

    • @paultreviews
      @paultreviews  7 місяців тому

      Hi, the app I use for this camera is ‘Wildlife Cam’
      There is a very small peg that you slide all the way one way to turn it off, slide to the middle to access the settings etc and slide all the way to the right to activate the camera - there will be a countdown and then the screen will go blank. It is now ready for the sensors to activate when anything passes in front of the camera. It will continue to do that until you switch it off or the battery runs out!
      Make sure you have charged the battery with the USB lead. It’s quite a big battery so once fully charged it holds that charge for a long time.
      I notice you say it goes off after two minutes when placed outside.
      So you mean it has recorded for two minutes and then reset itself ready for the next activation? That sounds right. Make sure you follow the settings as per my video so it will do want you want it to do ie video or photo and how long the video will continue for. I set it to only take video.
      Test it by turning on and leaving for a couple of minutes - then do a little dance in front of it - leave it a few minutes and do another dance.
      Then check the videos on replay on the camera.
      Note: you can do all that in your living room so no need to do any dancing in the garden if that’s not your thing 😀

    Great review, very informative.. thanks! Question: If I use the camera to run in timelapse mode taking one picture every hour all summer while I build my log cabin, do you know if there is a way to output a video that strings all the pics together, or do I need to manage thousands of stills somehow, and compile the timelapse video elsewhere?
    btw I found your video while I was trying to figure out the range of delays available for timelapse, so I was v happy with how you went through all the camera settings!

    • @paultreviews
      @paultreviews  2 місяці тому

      Sounds like an interesting project - glad my video was useful to you.
      The trail camera will provide the 1,000s of stills so you will have to put them together to make the Timelapse video. There are plenty of pieces of software which will do this.
      Do some testing first - you will want to only take photographs during the day so that’s where the ‘monitoring period’ comes in.
      You will probably have to change the SD card at some stage. Work out how many photographs will fit on the card.
      Each second of end result video will consist of 30 images.
      Good luck - I’d run at least two cameras - more - in case of any failure. There are also dedicated Timelapse cameras.

    Your review was well done, I tip my hat to you. I just purchased this very camera and I find it has been user friendly on setting it up. However, I do have a question concerning the timers. During your presentation showing timer #1, on & off time, and I noticed your #2 timer was "0" start and finish. How can I zero my #2 timer on start time and finish time. Like you, I don't want two timers, but I can't figure out how to get it to use zero's. Thanks for any help.

      I’ve just had a look and I am able to adjust the start time on my second timer to 00:00 which would in effect be the start time and then put the end time also to 00:00
      In effect these 0 times are midnight on - midnight off.
      Hope that helps.

    Paul T, I am having to replace one of my older Campark models. I want the solar and wifi capable. Would this TC21 be the one you would choose or can you direct me to another one that I should look at? Price is not the object as I prefer quality

    • @paultreviews
      @paultreviews  5 місяців тому

      Hello,
      The TC21 has the best audio I’ve ever heard - the TC22 the second best.
      The daytime quality is equal and fantastic.
      So the main difference is the TC21 is no glow and the TC22 low glow.
      That means the nighttime quality is significantly better on the TC22.
      I find the convenience of the solar panel arrangement more convenient with the TC22.
      I have done a video on the TC22 which might be worth checking over.
      Hope that helps.

      It’s waterproof without the facia - I don’t bother with the facia most of the time.
      The facia just clips on the front and just adds a little visual disguise - it has no other function.

I thankfully got all my cameras sorted i have 2 daytime cameras which are both this camera and i have usogood tc91 & tc80 for my nightime cameras but im going to get the browning hp4 elite because the nightime cameras aren't very good when the animal is close to the camera but i got suggested to get the browning hp4 elite because they don't overexpose animals.

    • @paultreviews
      @paultreviews  11 місяців тому +1

      @@Shotsofwildlife sounds like a good considered set up you’ve got.
      Now back to these TC21
      I haven’t actually asked the manufacturer if they are waterproof without the facia - I actually assumed it because it’s a relatively loose fit and doesn’t cover the base which has the card and set-up slider. I do make sure that sealing strip at the bottom is really well pushed in. I suppose it would stop direct rain hitting the buttons but presumably not water running down between.
      Let me know what you think of the quality of the Browning when you get it and how the daytime stacks up with these cameras.
      I try and avoid the over-exposure by trying to make sure the animal is not in the centre of the frame and I have the LEDs set to ‘low’.
