you can use the first older pound coin as a cool trolley token or leisure centre locker token. If you find or have an old token holder keyring clasp thingy you can drill a hole in the old coin and keep it on your keys for decoration and keep it with you for when you need a token

Funny story from last year,Isle of dogs: A man,who turned out to be from Saudi Arabia,came running up to me on the foreshore,he exclaimed excitedly”I found something!” I followed him over,and there was a dead eel. He asked what it was,he thought it was a snake!🤣 I had to convince him that it was an eel,which he never heard of. He was convinced it was a snake! Eventually I convinced him,pointing out the fish anatomy,and even told him that they were even edible,although I said only to the most traditional or adventurous eaters. 🤣
