Lovely. Is that the poem's title, and does it appear in a collection?
Hello Tim, the poem title is 'Your Prayer' from David's collection, STILL POSSIBLE (2022): davidwhyte.com/store/book/still-possible/
@@poetdavidwhyte Thanks! (I was thinking about that volume but can't find a contents list anywhere.)
Wonderful advice for life
Beautifully relevant to writing music as well ❤
Woke up this morning and realized I was stuck between worlds. Came across this video and it helped me to embody my pain.
Wonderful to listen to you both! Thank you for sharing this! It inspires me to come back to writing poetry again. That maybe I gave up on it right when I needed to stay with it, and get that breakdown or breakthrough. I’d love to hear the rest of the talk or series. Is it available?
And in the simple ground of this world is the limitless answer of the for ever lonely and longing human heart❤ wonderful Thank you

At first glance lol of course
Love this yes all in season!
Brilliantly cognized & articulated. ❤😊
Like a baby in the womb the inside nurishing. Thanks ... A gift of seed, and growth and ... Birth
Could have spelt practising correctly.
It can be spelt this way too, it's the US spelling.
@carmel3613 True, but you sound British, and Americans don't know the difference between a verb and a noun.
@carmel3613 I liked the video though.
Thank you
I just came home from my mostly wonderful work as a highschool teacher for music and voice , but had a hard time, as my family is in grief about the grandfather( he was a master of building clocks😊), and the athmosphere was not very friendly and stressed up there, today.... sometimes it takes courage to be vulnerable and still go out to work. But your words about poetry and the bigger connections, (and about the importance of risking oneself !) encouraged me right away. As I know, it is my task here, to bring my heartfulness to my surrounding. So thank you also, for YOUR open heart, it is an amazing inspiration to me. ❤ Alexandra
Extremely vision & articulation 🙏
Lovely message David. Thank you. Always.
Love and Work, for Freud these are the major paradigms of life.
What we all innately know but in some cases choose to hide from and ignore
Love this! 🎉
Companionship perhaps - to find it in the presence of abandonement with the self, connects, reconnects.
I’ve recently discovered your poetry and your videos. They seem to be leading me somewhere, but I’m not sure where yet, except I know that it’s toward being more me than I’ve ever been. Thank you so much for sharing these on UA-cam. It’s where I found them. The places you describe in granada sound absolutely beautiful.
Thank you David! <3 These videos are a real gift

@@poetdavidwhyte thanks
Very much needed these questions today. Many thanks to you and your team, David.
Your words find the expressions for living into being ….and the interior places of the heart that my yearning calls me to. I just found you one day on my iPad… and have been listening to your heart words, mystical words….so beautifully put together…. I do not know if you can feel all that you say….i hope you do…. The words that you put together take me to a place … or point me to a place …that as a child, I have known, but as an adult after losing so much innocence ….it is as though…. You often recapture….what I have lost… so much more to say…I shall leave now. I would love to know if you ever come to NYC? It would be a joy to hear you and feel your presence. It is a rare thing that I respond in the comments. Your expression moves me deeply. Thank you for sharing your gifts. A.Lynn Jones
Has always said “yea” at the end of sentences so often or is that new?
