Very interesting I was unaware of that but very cool. I guess since it’s been so long this one is like being the first one as also many online sources have said that when I was making video.
@@gogotravelwithjosh When you mention the style of Timber as wood says so boring don't think the RC call it wood Timber sounds so much more polished especially in a RC.
Next time you’re in Perth hit me up and I’ll take you on a tour of the “sights” ..have you been to Margaret River and the southwest? It’s a lovely drive and there are wineries 🤗 I’ll drive you 😊
Interesting, I live in the twin building right in front so I’m always looking at the Ritz but a bit pointless to stay in the hotel next door. The view from the other side of the building is better. By the way, we can see INTO the Ritz at night so you probably should close those blinds in the bathroom or doing stuff in the bedroom 😉
Oh well. I stayed in the same room last year during high season. Paid for 1000aud per night. No one opened my car door on my arrival when I drove in and they had not offer me to carry my luggage. Where was the bell boy😂
At these properties you do expect everything to be perfect, that’s why it’s so disappointing when they miss things like opening car doors or making you feel special.
I know its not a 'suite' but for me I would want to see at least two sofa chairs to sit in in the evening. The table and chairs don't quite do that and so guests will be forced to sit or lie on the bed. Taking a little bit of the bathroom space might have made extra space to allow for two sofa chairs or even one two seater but nice room and especially at night.
I like your videos and your reviews, however, you seem to be rating these hotels too lightly. You seem to only be reviewing Hyatt and Marriott properties, so perhaps you are trying to get in good with them? I know you are probably using points that is why you are only covering these hotel properties. As you have given 20 hotels now perfect scores and then you have 20 hotels which score between 18 and 19.75. I think you need to be a bit more through. For example, the W and St Regis in Aspen are no where near a perfect score in my view. I would be hard pressed to give them a 17/20 on their best days. You should try The Little Nell in Aspen next time to see what great service is. The St Regis in Rome, again no where near 19/20, possibly a 17.5 or 18/20 based on your categories. However, the W in Nashville, I do agree with your 17.5/20 rating, as the rooms are missing a bunch of features that should be standard. I wouldn't even give the Bulgari in Dubai, Villa Tre Ville in Positano, JK Place Capri, or the Four Seasons George V in Paris a 20/20 and those hotels will run rings around any hotel that you have reviewed. Keep up the great work though!
Nice place but l would always check to see what the mattress on the bed is like, pull back all the layers see if the mattress is like new or in good standing, and rate the mattress, nice to have all this but, if the mattress is not good all the other things don’t cut it. I ve seen some top Hotels then a crap mattress thank you.
That’s a great point, I guess with the hotels I stay at I just expect the mattress to be in excellent condition. I feel I wouldn’t want to know otherwise might ruin my experience 😭
I live right across the Swan River from there. On the top floor of a fairly tall building a little to the South when viewed from out of that big hotel suite window. For god's sake stop showing this kind of stuff all over the darn internet. We don't need anyone to know what is going on over here... ...And yes, there are dolphins in the river. And kangaroos right there on Heirisson Island (isle in the river right there to the left out the window). Darude (Sandstorm) comes down here and skateboards at a local nearby park on the river bank regularly. Hi JES. Hi MarLo. Mel Gibson's first REALLY BIG movie (Year of Living Dangerously - with Sigourney Weaver) was made from out of here. Hey hey. What the sigma?! I shouldn't be saying all of this stuff. Don't watch this video. There's nothing to see here. ; )
I live in an apartment about 500mtr from the Ritz with same views, best thing to wake up to,love it.
This property looks absolutely stunning!
It really is! It’s worth a trip to Perth just to stay here made the whole experience!
Incredible property. The future of Ritz Carlton is bright!
The newly built Ritz Carlton’s truly are spectacular. I also am excited for the brands future!
Nice review, Josh!!❤❤❤
The Ritz Carlton in Perth is awesome. I’m glad you enjoyed your stay in our beautiful city. 👍👍👍
Hey Mate! Thanks for your review of the Ritz Carlton and showing Elizabeth Quay. Your presentations are really nice and your explanation is thorough.
I live 25 miles from this, so excited to see the town I call home on your channel 😃
Josh Australia has had Ritz Carlton Brand for decades Michael Hutchence (Inxs) died in RC Double Bay in Nov 1997

Excellent review and what an amazing Ritz Carlton. I think you've convinced me to (almost) give up camping ;-)
Thank you for the kind feedback! And lol, yes this definitely would provide a more luxurious experience than camping 😂

Australia 🧡🧡
For US $450. (AU $681 ) per night . I would not only expect my car doors to be opened upon arrival but also a piggy back by the porter to my room !!!!

The valet here curbed 2 of my brand new rims btw. They did pay, but still sour experience. How am I to trust them again?
That sounds terrible but at least they did pay and make it right. You should give them a second chance:)

Wish I had a dollar for every time I heard you say cool, amazing, beautiful, gorgeous… oh wait…. I do. 😅
crown tower is better
In my opinion the rooms there look dated especially with just all carpet. It’s also much older. What do you like better about the Crown Tower?
Nice hotel . Boring view .
