I think the point of the transparent window is to make sure your "guest" isn't rifling thru your personal belongings when you use the head.

That would be quite specific to Pattaya 😁, but you find these windows separating the bathroom and the room everywhere in the world now!

Room is small, no privacy toilet/battoom, awful view, small swimming pool,
It’s more a 3 star hotel

Privacy is easy to set if wanted. You can discuss the 5th star, but it's definitely not a cheap 3-star hotel...
