Tickling Chains Disc Golf
United States
Приєднався 12 тра 2021
Let's go sling some DDDDDDD!! Trent Pendergast a 49 year old learning how to play disc golf (3 years in). Fun unscripted videos, all made and edited through my iPhone. I'm here to grow disc golf and help others learn along with me. 24 years as a baseball coach (High School and College), 16 years strength training baseball players (High School) with a masters in Kinesiology, brings lots of coaching experience and humor (hopefully) to help everyone improve. I'm tickling chains because I am not good enough to bang chains yet. Living in West Palm Beach, Florida

For real!
🤪
Thanks for getting right to it.
This is great format! Will be easy to follow. Appreciate you!
I’m glad you liked it! Please share it! This video isn’t getting a lot of views
Something I never noticed that you pointed out is the non throwing hand gos down first, I have been struggling with this part of the timing sooo much. Cand wait to get some rips in tonight and see how it feels doing this.
I suck at opening every time when I tried to unlock it it won’t work
1:40 just marking for future reference
Thank you
Who is in grade 6 👇
Great fun commentary. Reminds me of being out with the boys
@@HeavyVoid88 thanks!
7th grade locker club
I learned that in 6th grade

I just bought a Star Savant 1 week ago. It's more over stable than I thought it would be and I like it a lot. It's a lot more stable than the Teebird I just got a month before. It feels solid to me...more so than most other discs. I'm not sure what that means but that's what came to mind when I first held it. I don't see turning it over and it doesn't fade too hard either. It feels safe.
It worked 🎉
bro saved my 8th grade locker thank you tho people say i was cook 😨😨😨😨
bro saved my 8th grade locker thank you tho
bro saved my middle school locker💀 thank you tho
fr I am in 10 now
Idk if I’m dumb but isn’t he going counterclockwise, clockwise, counterclockwise
ayeeee
Wow underrated channel! I have been working on this exact thing lately. My body loves to throw with my lower back 😅 I am going to have to try adding some of this to my routine. Also, great job explaining everything!
Thanks! I appreciate that! Don’t be afraid to share my stuff. Yeah back is a big problem for a lot of people
😂😂😂
Thanks for exercises. I believe many people should utilize strength and mobility training not all of us are super long whips like Gannon and AB
Agreed!!
Excellent exercises. I have found explosive jumps holding dumbells to be effective too. As for the brace foot position and weight distribution... 1. People vary. Some naturally have duck feet, others are pigeon toed, and most something in-between. People need to work within their anatomy. 2. I believe more weight on the heel of the brace when straightening the knee is safer with better hip rotation. Thanks for caring and sharing.
Useless video. Hope you don't teach for a living.
im crying i can open my locker now yippekyeaye thank you (☆▽☆)
My legs are a little shorter then most at my height so I might need to go a little closer. I felt half way to the splits with a standstill lol
Lots of good drills!!
Thanks I’m glad you liked it!
I can't say I agree with the vertical brace stuff. Looks more like falling through your brace than bracing.
@@sarinhighwind I don’t really with it either but someone is teaching it and people are doing it so I figured I would give them a drill also.
Lots of coaching misinformation on the internet, even ones people seem to really enjoy, so if it doesn’t seem correct no need to believe it to be correct.
his bracing looks very much like mine and im at 133m so i would say its working even though i have some flaws in other areas that needs to be fixed. The main thing you will feel is that 100-120 meters really is smooth throwing with very moderate effort.
the tripod of the foot thing with the numbers. Just be aware that people will think you mean to plant on the heel first with that.. Why people would ever get that impression, i dont know, but...
Thanks! Yeah it’s supposed to be just counting the spots of the foot.
Cool exercises tips!
coool
What a great video. Thank you 👍🏾

As a Chiropractor and Occupational Therapist, I love that you bring science, rehab, and athleticism to your content! All while making the info easy to digest and apply. Im a fan! Thx
Thank you so much! I appreciate it!
I’m just putting out a thought I’ve been having lately: have you tried to push your back foot into the ground while striding/coiling?
I haven’t but I’ll look into that.
@@ticklingchainsdiscgolf it’s something I noticed when I was watching slow motion videos of the usual suspects their rear leg extends and Drew has mentioned he definitely uses his back leg
That clip of spin doctor talking about it, that's me in the video. I started working on this back over the winter and it was a great change.
Awesome!
Where the hell did that Frisbee go
lol. It’ was a birdie. Hard to see with on camera and cars in the background

You filthy little trash bag, I think I love you.
I think I read once when your thighs start to shiver, you have reached the maximum benefit point for that plunge. Have you read anything like that?
I'm 58 and been doing this for a year now. Just do it! The rewards are plentiful.Mental and physical toughness for sure, muscle recovery quicker, prevent injury (especially back), reduced inflammation and sickness reduction.
Damn. Icy. 💪🏻
Nice video. I’ve been considering this. I also live in Florida and would opt for just using ice in the Ice Pod (if I buy one). Just wondering how often I’d have to add ice. Probably every other day I’m sure. Thanks for the info 👍
Thanks! Gonna try this drill. My head/shoulders turn waaaay too early and elbow ends up smashed against my chest - it's so bad, LOL. Will let you know how it goes.
