@@calebeda so nice thing about gen 4 is that I put the mag release on the right side making it accessible for me as left the slide release being on the left does make it difficult but as a work around I manually rack the slide once loaded. Just incorporate it into training to get used to it. But yeah lefties are always forgotten

@@Budget_operator to be honest I’m not sure. I buy holsters from bordertown holsters and they do specify what slide you use. Now any light on a frame is where the retention comes from so maybe just maybe a 48 holster would work due to the longer side length?

@RandoWayne i found another video and learned how to replace the stopper. I was actually able to bend mine back up and now the cylinder locks in place!

@@RandoWayne I have an sx3 but I’ve only fired an sx4 A few times but me they don’t compare. It’s just something about the weight and the way they locked to the rear

@@shamothecow to be honest I’ve never used an sx3 but I have heard good things about them. I’ve really a bust my sx4 12 and it still eats all ammo and just keeps going.

@ just keep her clean and your wallet will cry with how many rounds you’ll put down range how quickly. My buddy owns a repair shop and he says he’s never seen one in there yet so that must be a good sign

@@conniechapin9278 in all honesty I have not seen them explode off of the mag itself. Not sure if I left it loaded with the warping how long this would take to happen. You’re right though, didn’t technically fail until it doesn’t hold.

@RandoWayne don't want debris falling in there or it getting snagged. I'd like one kinda like the PSA micro dagger with build in comp or a ported one with a window only on top for the gasses to escape.

@@vashmatrix5769 that’s fair. GG does make a slide that has no window but it does lack the top port.

@@mudrucker3656 hey man thanks for commenting. Not gonna lie I saw them back when they came out and followed some others who put them on. They are double the price of the gg and to me are not aesthetically pleasing and also appear larger in the width area. The set screw also does not fit flush inside like GG offering.After having what Dusty at Grit grips designed to complete the frame I will say I won’t be spending the money for SLR. Sorry to disappoint on this one but I like what grit grips is doing.

@@mudrucker3656 if you are going to ccw it the small profile is nice. I’ve had some magwells that flare out so much that no matter what it would print. For me the subtle effectiveness is what makes it better.

You can put the firearm in and not cut it in all honesty. Cutting it does limit you to using only for that given gun. Give it a shot!

@@scotteric8711 holding firmly on the trigger , dripping the mag and manually racking the slide to eject the seated round would then make it clear. Any slight movement though of the trigger while doing these operations will fire the gun though.
