I EDC the G35. Easily have 7k rounds through it - likely closer to 10k rounds from my time on swat. The one I carry was my old duty service pistol - which I bought when they transitioned us to the Glock45. Solid running gun.
@@SojournerNX that’s awesome that you carry and ran that much ammo through it. I appreciate the stories people share and insights! Thanks for commenting and sharing. Take care
Really good point that going with a G35 gives you the option of converting to a 9mm, G34, when you can’t go from a 34 up to a 35 conversion. And 357 Sig could be fun when I’ve got money to burn ;)
I wonder what the chronograph would be with this weapon and the underwood 135 grain hollow. I seen a video with the berreta 96fs an the muzzle energy was 675. That’s with a 4.9 inch barrel. By the g35 being 5.3 inches I wonder would that bump up the muzzle energy to a lil over 700 pounds of muzzle energy
That’s a good question. I do not have a chronograph but it would be interesting to understand what the ammo used for target vs defense is putting out performance wise. Thanks for commenting and take care.
I picked up my Glock 35 MOS last Monday. It's brand new, but with my LEO discount, I saved a lot of $. I haven't got an optic yet as it is my first optic ready pistol and I'm still trying to decide. Any suggestions? I also got a Safariland level 3 holster to carry it in. I'm retired and in my day all we had were thumb break holsters. This one is a whole new animal.
@@martincolvill5453 the safarilands are very nice and I like that style of holster release. For optic you really have to look at a few and decide what reticle and size of view window you want. The 35’s longer sight radius does make open sights very nice though as well. I personally like the holosun with the Vulcan reticle from primary arms how’s ifnyou want to spend way less for quality a zulisy oak can be had way cheaper and I have personally used mine for well over a year without a single issue.
@@calebeda so nice thing about gen 4 is that I put the mag release on the right side making it accessible for me as left the slide release being on the left does make it difficult but as a work around I manually rack the slide once loaded. Just incorporate it into training to get used to it. But yeah lefties are always forgotten

G35 - the "Forgotten" Glock
I love it - I EDC it (Off Body) bc it's a huge Monster 👌
Until people realize how great this is it will stay forgotten, a shame really.

Have a gen 3 and absolutely love it. I removed the mag release and cut the corners nicely to kill the sharp corners. Very sweet shooter.
@@Razor_36 nice! Thanks for watch and sharing. I too modify at times for my own comfort if needed.

With the 40S&W 135gr there is no need for 357 Sig
damn that thing is awesome
Thank you
I have the Gen 4 Glock 35 along with the 31, 20, and 21. Although I shot excellent with the 35 my EDC is the Glock 31 in .357 sig.

@@RandoWayneall you need is KKM conversion barrel. Probably why I’m leaning towards the 35.
@@ltx383 thanks for the advice
@@RandoWayne lol left the comment before I came across the part where you’re already completely aware of the conversion barrels.

I think with the 135gr loads in 40S&W there is no need for 357 Sig. But the 9mm is a nice option.
@@Gieszkanne definitely agree that some of the rounds negate the need to have multiple calibers
as a lefty, does the stop lever being on the right side problematic at all? Glock forgot about the lefties on this one

Can't Beat the 3 lbs competition trigger
For people who complain about Glock triggers they should try this one out
Hell yea once I saw the Titan i understood why you have the 35 not the typical robot fan boy.
