Great video as usual! A few additions: - Streaming to UA-cam in 1440p or 2160p always triggers the VP09 codec, which looks much better than AVC1. However, VP09 is also enabled for 1080p streaming on some UA-cam channels (haven't found out what it depends on - but noticed it on channels that stream regularly). That's why we often upscale a 1080p feed and stream it at 1440p or 2160p. Ryan Somerfield made a video about this and has some teststreams available. ("Lets Compare Livestream Resolutions for UA-cam Livestreams") - Having 4 HD feeds in a 4k image is not only useful for recording, but also for cloud/remote production, as it is a fairly cost-effective solution to send 4 feeds in frame sync to a remote location. It can be split in software or with a Teranex 12G-SDI to Quad SDI.

In our church we have an HD workflow but we stream in 4K due to the higher bitrate that UA-cam reserves for 4K streams. We use the Blackmagic Webpresenter 4K to upscale and stream.

Using 'Master' and 'Slave' is outdated terminology in the AV/IT/Programming industry... look it up. Most common is Main/Remote, Primary/Client, Parent/Child, etc...etc.

how is th fan noise? the Gen1 had a lot of noise after some hours the fan kicks in and it makes a lot of noise for a quiet needed studio (yes we have had a bunch of them and all had the same issue)

It is portable :) Sadly it doesn't have AV1 encoding. Internet in my country is far cheaper but one pays for convenience to get worldwide coverage. Scaling it up to a wan would make sense to use a PC with AV1 capable video card, Teltonika RUTX50 5G Gateway, and an external 4 x 4 MiMo Omnidirectional antenna.

Cool, but is a option to connect to Unreal Engine 5+ to be as a psisical system of virtual cam in UE.

So If I'm getting a clean feed from the SDI, then why can't I just use an external recorded (Atmos Ninja Ultra) and record through that, instead of recording to an SSD?

These product are amazing, but just one question: why not everything in the back? I mean if you put the unite into the video switcher rack, and the MTP12 is in the back with all the SDI I/O, the MTP12 cable is in the back as the other cables so nothing in the front that can be in your way. Just my thought. I would prefer not to have any cable in the front, but maybe some monitoring screens? like signal and bitrate maybe. Or signal failover of one camera/cable or what else
