Looks good! I have one of these in my collection...actually 2, one I bought that was built up but broken, and another that is a full kit, but it is missing a few things. I'll have to cobble them together to make one good one. To answer your question, there is a Phaeton and a car known as a Dual Cowl Phaeton. The Phaeton does not have the windshield behind the passenger seat, but the Dual Cowl Phaeton does. Good suggestion on starting on the one side to get the alignment correct. I'll consider building mine that way. It would be cool to get a small piano hinge between the two hood pieces. Then you can make your hood open along the seam line.

Well done! Almost finished this model myself, and so far very pleased with it. Could have done with lenses for the lamps instead of decals, and you need to keep comparing the instructions (some of the the arrows point to the wrong location points) with the correct version of the tractor on UA-cam, etc (especially with the front wheel support brackets). When you open the box there doesn't appear to be much in it, but I'm sure those with a lot of patience and dexterity, this Ferguson will prove to be well worth the build!

Nice kit but you do not compare the accuracy to the real thing. It's one failing in my opinion is the inaccurate hood/bonnet shape, having had the real thing it is an awful shape and gives the car a more bulbous shape to the front, a fault that even the Modelhaus (US resin casters) did not correct.

Whats interesting is my Revell 1:24 kit i bought a couple years ago (which is about the time you released this video) does not have the Trans Am decals for the front fenders or the back of the trunk spoiler. Might have been that trademark issue. Too bad for me though as I might have to find this kit just for the decals as I want it to look correct and match my 1:1 Doh!!!

Nice review, however I disagree this is a good kit. The one I got seemed to be misaligned during the sprues molding process which meant that most of the parts where misaligned and didnt fit properly. the chassis did not aligned correctly, the bonnet and boot of the car did not followed the lines of the body no matter what correction and putty I put in. I posted this kit in a few car model groups and they all agreed this is a rebox of an old japanese kit from the 80s. All in all, pricey and awful kit to build in mown experience. perhaps yours came out nice. All the best!

Some of the available VW models are very well detailed, even on the inside. Kind of sad really, that you can't see much of the interior once the model is finished. I'm currently working on the Tamiya 1300 Beetle, am very tempted to cut a ragtop sunroof into it just to see all the interior work I will do. If I ever get one of these cargo vans, I might see about cutting the cargo doors so they are displayed in the open position.

I know these AMT kits are hard too build,they don't have the best instructions! Some of the part's will not fit,and this will be a problem!

Super-nice and super-fun build! I have one I'd like to do as the fenderless pickup. I don't see anywhere in the instructions regarding what floor to put on the frame for fenderless versions, nor for where to place cuts for removing them. Any light you can shed regarding what you did would be very helpful. Great job and thanks in advance for your guidance.

Dued, what’s up with your big ass eyebrows?!

Nice job! Just a few random comments: The box says 1/25, but at least one plastic tree says "1/24", which is ... strange. The body has a 427 badge molded into the front fenders. The instructions indicate that decals go over the top of them, so one assumes the molded badge should be filed off. The metal axle won't go through the engine block as the Cobra is a mid-engine design (the engine is completely behind the front axle).

Is this doable without using an airbrush?

The color looks just right on this car. I’m a huge fan of the GM G-Body. The L-98 fuel-injected engine was available on the IROC-Z28 Camaro as well as the C4 Corvette. Very nice build! 👍

Nice build. The blackout look is great for this car. Nice engine for the model as well. The car was originally equipped with a 305 with throttle body fuel injection, and the tuned port injection looks awesome under the hood of the model.
