Why did I buy a go kart?…. For my kids! Honest! I share what I did to get this thing running for the first time in over 10 years and then squeezed myself into it and took it for a ride. Good times! Thanks for watching!

Do you know to look for this when checking or buying a used carburetor for your project vehicle? I didn’t until recently.

Our 1968 Pontiac Firebird. I drive it! I actually drive it! Sure, it doesn’t want to shift and is missing fenders, a hood and both doors, but it moves under its own power. Who cares about anything else!
It’s a Spider Powered 318 Dodge Engine
Переглядів 3962 місяці тому
I made a mistake. The engine that I took the heads off of in a previous episode was not a 360 cubic inch Dodge, it was a 318. That had a very scary spider in it. I’m not a chicken!!! You would have been scared too!!!

Nice video! I just patched an old sunroof and got some warping in the roof too. Trying to figure out how to fix that without using too much filler.
I'd like to see how that tool was made, getting a perfect radius cut
I got a whole set of 50yo NOS white walls for $75 from swap meet. Took a hour to get em kinda white
Someone broke his mirrors so he 3d printed them😂🤷♂️
Was that a SNL reference?
Just tow mirrors buddy
Would look good on my 5 speed ion
🔥🔥🔥🔥I’m doing this to my civic
Only if it's a ef 😂
amazing video! I'm working on a 235 from a 57 Chevy 3100 and it's been a pain. The engine is a little stuck and won't turn but the biggest problem was the bell housing and the flywheel coming out! glad to see there are options for a budget build for these old engines!
It's a great idea
They are the same picture
Fix the rear main seal
Looks nice dude
it sure be alot better if you would mix the word cool with some other words
Hello Nick. Thank you for sharing your video. Just a curious question. Would it be easier to use a bondo body filler to patch up those worn out areas? Very nice Illustration of your work. 👍
It would probably be easier to bondo it but I wanted to try and shape the metal and see how it went. It's just an old farm truck. You can't hurt it.
Have a 1928 that I am going to use this type of installation on. The wood accent in the roof looks awesome. !!!
That 24/26" hanging from the wall Can't say I've seen that bike before 2005 maybe?
Thanks youve made me decide to paint my suzuki vl bobber tyres ive custom built, ordered some white wall specific paint ive just found on ebay while watching this😂, just dont let the wife know ive spent more money on it😂😂
Doing this today Wish me luck!
💯🏆💯🏆💯🏆💯🏆💯
We have a 77 undergoing a restomod. Love it!
Hey Dave, what’s with the long hair sticker??
I had always wondered how well flex-walls would work. This opens up levels of DIY never before seen
Nice job. I only wish you would have included the Travel-All as well. Btw... in the 1972 film Deliverance, the protagonists are driving a 1970 olive/white Scout with their canoe on top. Also, in the 1993 comedy Grumpy Old Men, Walther Matthau's character drives a 1974 IH Travel-All.
COOL!!!! Thank you.
Needs the pope dome
Sly is also left handed! Imagine that!
Scout was destroyed by union unrest!
Lol, yeah it turned out pretty cool.😕🙂🤓🤠😎😏👍✌️👋👏💪🌾🍀🌿🍃🇺🇸
Cheaper to take it to a carburetor rebuild shop and just have new bushings put in it they'll do it for it's not that much money
Take it in and have new bushings put in it that'll take care of your problem
How has this held up over time?
what color red is this on the rims
I like a magnet on the telescopic handle!
For a gas hose im gonna guess
Old school anti- siphon spring.
I know what the springs for it's what the squirrels use on the pogo stick to make the car run😂
Lot of good calls in the comments, but it could also be from a previous owner cleaning the tank- I've seen people put all kinds of random metal scraps in there to help agitate dirt when they do a slosh-clean on a tank, and thats a pretty clean interor...
F it leave it in there
Anti theft filler neck, somebody has probably siphoned gas from it in the past
Fell off a gas nozzle
Like trying to get a pick out of an acoustic
I was gonna say welcome to the life of an acoustic guitarist 😂😂
@user-ox1dw3dy5l sometimes I just leave them until there's 3 or 4 to get out. Or until next string change.
It goes up by the nozzle area to keep the hose from turning flat
From the filler neck!
🧲
It mixes to protien power
Or,... the spring of old school fill nozzle
It usually goes into the fuel neck hose to keep people shoving a hose into your fuel tank and sifening out your gas usually held in by a hose clamp Collapsing the hose around the spring clamp rots off and drops the spring into the fuel tank
Absolutely correct remember them back in the 70s anti theft device it keeps ScumBags from Siphoning gas out of your fuel tank.
Some gas station filler nozzles had a spring like that.
The junkyard Peace out
