@lost148 I haven't had a chance to finish my review of the Edition XS, but I will do a quick comparison for you tomorrow and let you know. $400 is a really good price for the HE6se, and I really wouldn't reccomend it over $600.

Also if im not trying to break the bank, what could you recommend to drive the HE6SE V2

@@MasterMarslander Honestly I’m just starting getting into the audiophile hobby. I ordered a Topping DX-3 Pro to go with the Hifiman XS I ordered, which I assume will not be enough to drive these. I should be able to return it though. I don’t really want to spend more than $300 on an amp as I was only expecting to spend $500 for the DX3 Pro + Edition XS, and I’m not comfortable going way over that.

@reckulurn3038 I'd put it between the Cobalt and the R9, as the R7DX is really just a slightly less capable Cobalt. If you want big boomy bass, R9. If you warm and smooth with more controlled lowend, then probably the Cobalt.

You'd get a very solid performance improvement across the board, more power, and definitely more bass with that Xbass button.

@dogukvn the ANC would do well in those environments. The only concern I'd have is how they will fit to your head shape. Some head shapes might fit loose, which wouldn't be ideal for running. I encourage purchasing them from Amazon so you can easily return them if the fit doesn't work for you.

When you don’t have major supply chains, and have to work in extremely small batches, things tend to cost more money to cover the costs of materials and maybe make a profit. DMS has been very transparent about everything and only has a profit of 4.68% off of the first production run which in materials, manufacturing and labor cost $200k

LCDs are pretty much across the board some pretty hefty boys!

@Battleguy02 Shp9500 is more open and more staging than the Fidelio, and definitely more comfortable. Fidelio has more resolution, more technical advantages, and has a much better build.

The Ether CX is the more technically precise of the two, but I think most people would prefer the Aeon Closed X, and it is a better value overall.

Let me give an example: The particular share of yellow is a little bright for my taste, but the overall open design and has a neat style that I haven't seen anywhere else that appeals to me. I'm not a huge fan of Red either so maybe if there are more color choices or even a different chose of material I would find these more attractive. What headphones do you have at home?

@@RaiOshynnCat I currently have the Sundaras and the Neo classic. I don't like the back of the headphones. I would rather see a nice mesh cover not the driver's and a piece of plastic. The color is irrelevant. I just don't like that look

@@MasterMarslander I bought the IEM super mix 4 and they need an output impedance of less than 1 ohms, but I’m not sure what _< 100 ohms mean.

@Hugo-ou4ce I've used a number of IEMs on them without any complaints. I don't know the Super Mix 4, so it's possible it is a lot more sensitive than what I have on hand, but it can definitely handle subtle power needs.
