Thank you, that’s very kind of you to ask. I’m fine, I just haven’t had many opportunities to get out to see much steam. When I have, I either haven’t filmed, and have just enjoyed the moment or the film is still waiting to be edited/uploaded. There hasn’t really been much of interest around these parts this year 😢

Oh, that’s kind of you to ask. Thank you. I haven’t been out to see much steam this year, with too many other conflicting calls on my time. The last couple of times, I’ve just been out and watched and enjoyed the moment, instead of looking through a camera screen.

She is beautiful. The gun fire is, I believe, from Bisley firing range.😊

Thank you. Sharpthorne Tunnel in the opening shots is one of my favourite places, but it can get busy as the path either side of the foot crossing is not that wide. The footpath from Horsted Keynes is good as a number of spots along there. Freshfield bank is a good place too. Have a great visit.

Ah ha, yes it’s quite an unusual shot from here. The line is mostly too busy to risk standing on the up platform looking directly opposite the junction. (Although I have done it in the past and just got away with it).?The line from Staines, Addlestone etc loops round under the mainline, so the loco is generally putting in some effort coming up the incline onto the main line, which is always good to see. 😊 Hilary
