On with Constance’s husband. I hated him but I didn’t think he deserved that death really even though I hated that he slap her but I suppose it better than just making D,Artagnan killing out hate. I suppose that a good thing now because D,Artagnan and Constance can now have a proper relationship in peace without him or anyone interfering. I noticed how The 4th Musketeers did not bow down to him at the end there. 😂 For me this is where the finale starts now and you find out what I mean in next week episode. See you next week.

if you're watching on prime, you can pull up actor info based on who's in a particular scene. But yes, JK Simmons is Omni Man. Mark Hamill is Art, the costumes guy. There's a lot of familiar faces in this.

The trash bag that fell at the beginning was the one Mark threw into space. Remember he was working at Burger Mart? Also there is an Atom Eve special episode you can react to after season one.

Interesting analysis on how mark feels like he deserves his powers. Never thought about that, but also important to remember his powers are generic, he knew he was gonna get them eventually. It wasn’t some random accident like Spiderman or Captain America it was his destiny to take over his father’s position.

I really like this doctor, he has the potential to be up there with David and Matt imo

This series had a huge effect on me, I learnt HEMA (Italian rapier and dagger) as a result and read the original books. Adventure and camaraderie are missing in this age.

For me the best episode in show. This where series 2 starts to get really good. D’Artagnan and Constance are back on. Still got to work thing through especially with her husband. Really sweet that D’Artagnan was going to sacrifice himself for her. Prove he a real man. A true real man always make sure his woman is safe and put her before himself or anyone. I'm kind of glad you watched it late, gave me a chance to watch it again and give it more thought. The more I watch it the more I appreciate Anita's role in the special.

Glad you liked this one. Waiting for your take on season 3. This was one of the great riffs on 7 Samurai.

The episode itself may be cliche, but the music is some of the best in the series. It’s an absolute shame only two snippets are in the album: “Athos Remembers Milady” and “Training the Village.” Maybe Paul Englishby has the other bits in a box somewhere.

This episode always reminds me of that Merlin episode in series 1 where the 4 young people help each other to save Merlin’s home and people. Absent from this episode was Constance, Rochefort, Milady even though she was in the flashback scenes, Queen Anne and King Louis just like Uther and Gaius where in the Merlin one. Cannot wait for next week for episode 6. I would say that best episode of not just series 2 but the whole series and it where series 2 starts to get really good.

D’Artagnan and Constance are coming back. Yes. Honestly I ship them more than Queen Anna and Armiss a bit more. Both couples are cute though. I also noticed that Constance and Anna have a lot in common. They had an affair with Musketeers and they both slept and falling in love with Musketeers so they both know how that feels and they are not in love with their husbands. That scene in the Queens bedroom and when Constance walked in on them kissing and found out about them made me realise that.

I always get annoyed when the Captain loses his rank and that dream that Constance has is apparently a spoiler for not just for the rest of series 2 but for Series 3 as well. 😂

The fish scene was the funniest.

When the lady ran up to the carriage, it reminded me of the real life woman Emily Davison, the lady that ran in front of the horse for women Suffragette.

I ship D’Artagnan and Constance more than Anne and Aramis

Such a great show. I watched this one by random back in 2014 just like I did with Robin Hood. Was hooked right away.

Rochefort is such a creep in the opening scene. I feel sorry for the queen having that around her. 😂

After he slap Constant, I just wonder what would have happen if D,Artagnan saw that. He would have killed him. 😂 Constant has only been the lady in waiting for 3 episodes and she already mess up. 😂 She should have not taken the baby like that but we have to give her credit, her way was right. The baby recovery but she should have told the queen first.

Great reaction! And yes that last scene is extremely poignant. I may skip the next reaction, for one reason only, because of all of the thirty episodes of the entire series, I find the next one to be completely devoid of any drama or interest. It’s kind of a snorefest for me, but take heed: the next few after that get really, really good, with episodes five and six being, justifiably, fan favorites. Thanks for the video!

You see more of that from the king. This series will annoy you on how well the king can be fooled. That was a dick move from Louie. Promising him clemency and then having D,Artagnan killing him and that. This episode was nice to see king Louie and D,Artagnan have these moments together and seeing the friendship between Anne and Constance developing to.

The series would always do a cool set up for the last episodes of each season.

There a few episodes in series 2 which I am looking forward for you watching. Episode 2, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. Cannot wait for you to watch them

This is also the start of Queen Anna and Constance big friendship that we see more off and how close they start to become and we see more of how the Queen relies on her for advice to which it shows how loyal Constance is to people and really Constance was the Queen lady in waiting in the movies to so that happening for her now. There friendship get important for the 2 during this series and series 3.

And series 2 is my favourite series of the show. I mean I love all 3 series but series 2 is the best one. Like I said it leads up to events that will happen later and the characters getting closer. That probably why this episode is called keep your friends close. 😂

Get ready you’re in for a big ride. Series 2 take a dark turn and that probably why the music composed has changed. Yeah it sad they killed him off but I guess that the only way for him to get written out of the show they can think off. Series 2 also leads up to the big events that gonna happen in series 3 and it help all these characters start become a big family which we see more of in series 3 but that for another time. 😂

Stoked that you’re back! I think s2 is peak form here, same as Robin Hood. More budget for special effects and set pieces, the score is lovely, and by now you can overlook how every French citizen has an English accent.
