Hello from Germany, Kyle! I'm so happy you enjoyed that video by Dr. Ludwig. It very much is a great representation of our country. My partner recently joined me permanently from America and the first thing she said was "Wow, its so green, is it like that everywhere?" I said yes and she was like "What...?!" As a german its so mind blowing seeing the reactions of people to our country. The best part is that Germany is very immigration friendly. You pretty much just show that you want to work, learn the language and you contribute to the community, after which you can stay once you went through the hoops. Its also great for vacation because as a US citizen you can stay up to 3 months without needing an extended visa from your embassy!

That "Lifey" channel is the promotion channel of the Mormons. All those young Americans served their missions in Germany, boys usually 2 years, girls 1 year. They closed their mission base here in Hamburg roughly 8 to 10 years ago since obviously people in a large city like Hamburg are not interested in an American religion. I found it funny that they sent this guy to Meerane, a rather small villiage deep in Eastern Germany. I have no doubt that he got to know many (former?) communists there. All I hope that he had a chance to understand what Socialism really was and how much the people suffered under 40 years of Soviet occupation so that he can tell his fellow Americans to stop using "Socialism" as a political fighting term. When I see and hear MAGA people using that term, it's like a slap into the faces of the victims of that ideology in Europe and elsewhere. Solidarity-financed healthcare isn't "Socialism" but normal. Not normal is that the US is the only developed country that made healthcare a good and not a right. Even the most far-right German (European) politicians aren't in favor of changing the system we have. Let that sink in.

Rugby is a huge international sport in comparison to American Football. American Football is played in about 5 countries to any great extent but rugby is played in 120. The rugby world cup gets 900 million viewers and when Japan got through to the quarter finals the country went crazy with pride. It's slowly getting popular in the US. It's a great sport and the key point is that play is as uninterrupted as possible.
