I’m not familiar with warrior but in my opinion an open world build needs: condition cleanse, boon strip, stun break, self sustain, decent protection uptime. How does this build cover all of that without dropping to under 10k dps in exotic only gear like practically every other creator open world build making them insufficient to solo any janthir open world champions?

is it just me or is the heat the soul trait not working with the spear primal burst every time? I have been using this build and all of a sudden I only get quickness every other cast like if I do Wild throw(gives quickness)>blood reckoning>wildblow(doesn't give quickness.) I know it was working when you made this video but for some reason it isn't working for me

Just use Sword Pistol with a typical Alac mech build with Diviner/Bersekrs then use Jade dynamo instead of barrier engine u get 16 sec of quickness in 1 rotation and almost perma quickness with 30k dps, Survivability aint a problem if u kill it fast enough and u have AED anyway

Yeah, cool build. I usually use it with axes to the same effect. The range makes it a little more relaxed if doing events.

what is a good 2nd weapon for utility since it's not in rotation?

Defiantly not easy but that's probably why I play herald.

Well I'll be... A viable power scourge build. Well done! I suggest mixing in one or two Diviner accessories to make the Quickness easier to maintain.

2:11 Why don't you press Zealot Fire right away after pressing Zealot Flame. You do a few auto attacks and then use it, Axe 2, Axe 3, then use it.

Which relic do you use for the build? Specifically for raids and fractals.

Just tried this last night during raids and had an absolute blast. Not only was I pumping, but mmmMMM that unga bunga. Being able to be ranged so frequently allows you to do so many mechanics too, like pillar baiting on Adina and taking out sentinels during MO. I want to try it as a slub kiter for Q1 next time, I have a feeling it would do quite well.

Since you can’t switch weapons on mech mid fight. Do you just go with the weapon you want to rock spear or bow prior?

Thanks for the build. I like the utilities like cleaning conditions and stripping boons of this build, I find it especially useful in Janthir Wilds.

For anyone wondering, the F2-5 skills each cast the damage effect of manifest sand shade, which when set for power means each of your F2-5 skills do about 2k AoE off GCD. F5 hits for 2k in addition to the damage it does.

I can only get to 23K dps.... I have relic of the thief and no food...

10/10 Build. This build works and is much smoother to play than MetaBattle’s Axe/Axe Greatsword. Are you doing the most damage a Berserker can do, no but you will doing damn near close. Easy build to pick up and slam major damage.

Something tells me that "spear" will get nerfed soon in all classes.

It's sad when WoW gave Guns to Warriors back in the day before GW2, and GW2 has builds around them that are highly effective and WoW can't come up with a single modern build around Guns. 😢 (I know this isn't about guns but I couldn't help but think of them at 'Ranged Warrior')
