Thanks for sharing an Alac variation!! I almost prefer this over the full Power DPS version, the added survivability helps, even if its damage is reduced.
i salute the creator who makes us look good in strikes/raids/fractal even if we are noobs or/and lazy :P nice video as always!!! one thing though, unless i am missing something, this build cannot maintain 25 might, not a deal breaker ofc. thanks for this vid and keep em coming :P
I assure you : you don't look even close to good, you're just doing easy content but benches don't lie and good players immediately know who is good or not And player blindly following builds from this channel are just terrible at the game 9 times out of 10
@@rayn5554 following anything blindly is wrong . Even SC bible . Imo most (updated) builds here will pull their own weight perfectly in most instanced content . I myself play LI builds on all strikes all fractals and raids ( except from some cms) and in most pug squads I reach the top DPS positions . So yeah I look good pressing the bare minimum buttons while I am top DPS in eod/ibs strikes and ,boy oh boy, I enjoy it so much .
@@rayn5554 We used to clear content with no sweat back when the top benches for were in the late 20k's/early 30k's. The fact that LI builds like this can now pull in the high 30's on some specs means that if you are losing fights with people pulling this kind of damage they aren't likely the problem. If you are doing a perfect rotation then that's fantastic, good on you. But as long as content is being cleared most decent players don't care what people are playing. So back to performing whatever kind of autofellatio over your rotation you were up to before rather than putting down new players. It's people like you who are the problem with this game, not some player pulling 2 - 3k below the bench.

Really ncie build: a good dps being so ez to use. In real encounters, is F2 and F3 enough to upkeep alac with only diviner trinkets? Or you reccomend taking a sigil of concentration or the barrier signet to improve alac uptime? TY, keep the good work!
It's also the trait that gives us and allies barrier that gives alacrity. So, its not totally just f2 and f3. You can definitely take more diviners if you are moving around a lot, but never ever take pure boon duration. Only use concentration. Boon duration is not transfered to our mech.
From a quick glance, yea it's 100% uptime assuming you don't fuck up mech positioning and f3. The mech inherits % of our concentration (not to be confused with boon duration - they don't inherit this), and they pulse a small barrier every couple seconds (you can see it by the outer faint white ring every couple seconds in the video). You can check the mech's stats by mouseovering the hp bar. My personal level of comfort is having ~50% BD on the mech and half zerker half diviner is good enough to reach it.
The mech loses stats when switching to diviners, so dragonhubter becomes better, but scholars works too. Both dragon hunter and scholar are insignificant dps wise for this build.
Its weird I am only pulling like 28k dps at max. Edit: If anyone in the future is seeing this, I found out that currently around 25-27k is actually kind of the cap at the moment especially in exotics.

@rinkukitak if your mech is out of place you can use the blink to group it with you onto your team ato2833

Anet made changes to how the sword works on non holo specs. Is it still going to be viable
Dont know if you have testet, but how much dps loss would it be to take shield instead of pistol?
Its about 2k-2.5k dps.

Can you explain the change from Scholar to Dragonhunter runes compared to the pure dps power mech build?

Is there much difference between sword and hammer? Hammer for more sustain and sword for more dmg?
Hammer does less damage across the board now.
@@MrMystic1 That means your button masher scrapper from ~2 months ago uses sword/pistol now as well, right?
@@Blu3B33r No, that still uses hammer. This works well because our sword 3 activates our mech arm really frequently.

How are u holding a Sword in the Main Hand as a Mechanist? I can equip the sword, but i cant use it.
You need the weapons master training from Soto. Then you can use all weapons from all elite specializations.

It's not advised because if the mech is not near you everyone loses alacrity.
