Thank you for sharing your story and being open about the daydreaming, I definitely related! 😅 My husband and I did not wait despite growing up Catholic and with those views from our families. I had many "situationships" before him too, but he and I grew more in our faith after our marriage. We still are! I can say that the intimacy I share with him does not compare to any from my past, even when I was in love. You're so right about how the world's values are backwards. I wish people strength because celibacy can't be easy, but waiting to be with the one is truly special! 🩷
