Hi guys. Ive replaced an a5 regulator but it doesnt drive all the way up and lowers too far at the bottom position and im worried ill damage the left hand window clamp as its 'bottomed out'. Do the clamps need to be manually adjusted or can i reset the regulator into position? Any help would be greatly received !

How should u cut the zip tie on the new reg with out it unfolding?

Somebody said the problem is the oil cooler that needs to be changed but before that.the vehicle just cut off while driving but could not start again but the engine iscta king

That is great lesson and helpful. I own T5 Transporter TDI 2,0 diesel but it started mixing oil and water in the water bottle and later just cut out while driving.Now the vehicle could not start but cranking. What would be the cause?

Very useful video. As you mentioned, do not forget to lube the small O-rings on the oil filter cartridge neck and use the recommended synthetic oil. When I first replaced my filter on a 2.5tdi BPC engine, the old cartridge was compressed. So when I replaced the filter with all the O-rings lubed, I then removed it to check the neck was inserted correctly and had not compressed the cartridge. It's a bit fiddly as on my engine the top of the cartridge clips into the filter housing's plastic screw cap. But if the cap and cartridge screw down all the way by hand it is most likely properly fitted and then only requires a final torque. I've never had a crushed cartridge again.

Hello mate, my actuator rod is pulling on the latch, keeping it open, it does not seem to respond to key or boot button Should I replace the actuator?

Nice video, I had this today removed the boot cover and this latch just to gain a bit more access to the grey plug I had water leaking from the wiper motors weep vent that's a different job. I think a bit of dielectric grease on the plug pins after a clean up would solve this without swapping unless it was seized? regardless great job. after a clean and grease I have no more "boot open" when its closed warning. even though I still need to tackle the water leak from the wiper unit.
