The old system was 10 brawlers, not 20. The reason no one complained about it is because the sytem before that waa even worse, it would reset trophies on EVERY SINGLE BRAWLER IN THE GAME. Imagine being forced to play 86 brawlers every season.

im new and the new trophy road is not also that good when im playing a brawler that has like power 7 and 400 trophies i see people with 30k ,titles and and the most sweaty team comp ever

This game got so hard for me once I hit 1k total trophies. I only play every so often and when I can. When I get on, I either face roll a team or get face rolled. There is no in between or real sense of competitive play for me lol

As a huge Meeple fan, im also gonna say that they probably shouldnt have been added or at least added much much later, because like what you said, 1 or 2 new brawlers eveey month is a frickin LOT. I think supercell should spend more time polisihing old or forgotten features/ brawlers, and listen to the community more (even though theyll always be angry at something, as all communities are.). Amazing video ned!!!!

Ultimately, I see this as a good change, it makes trophy road, the primary game Mode, a lot more casual friendly and easier to climb, more players = game thrive, simple as that, also back in the day one bad randoms could ruin your entire day, but now it's less impactful cause you don't need to win every game, if people are always worrying about potentially losing, they won't play the game. Problem with trophy road now isn't even the trophies, it's unfair matchmaking and bad teammates, we really need a report system on regular ladder.

For people saying it doesn’t exist and that pushing trophies is hard. We should not be able push level 1 brawlers to “max tier”

i respectfully disagree, the arguments for his skill basically are rounded down to: - dodge, game sense and exploting every bit of strength - his weak state he had for years at the higher trophies - the amount of brawlers that can counter/escape close range with the tap of 1 button the first one while it does improve edgar a lot, it is something that applies with every brawler which isnt a very good point of reference when it comes to the skill of a brawler, while the other 2 are basically because he is an underdog in an enviroment that has lots of anti assassins gadgets or the likes, which you *could* argue it takes skill to be good in an enviroment that can get rid of you like a fly with 1 tap, but i think its more fault of the balance of the game and not a good point if the argument is that he is bad

So many people saying this, this is my take: No skill isn't an insult, so y'all should stop getting defensive everytime someone calls your main low skill, just have fun however you want. Yes, you need game sense to make him work but he's a very easy assassin to play, and you can tell this by how many people with less than 5k total trophies having Edgar above 1k even though they suck, just from being overleveled and grinding. 2:01 if you pick Doug in an open map he doesn't require any skill and will simply not work, so being countered or sucking at most maps doesn't change the fact that both the skill floor and ceiling are low. 4:18 the point is not dying btw, most of the time if you trade everytime you're either useless or making the team worse. So the farthest you can go with an assassin is hideout on bounty with like Lily if the other team can't break walls and all. 4:41 no way. Mico is another one that's bad and still doesn't take skill. Mico also "became" weak because the scaling bug on release were fixed and then they just finished him removing the super invulnerable to poison. Most of the time it's auto aim and it's just rock paper scissors, there is LITERALLY nothing you can do if he counters you and there is nothing he can do if you counter him

Edgar is a... Meh brawler, in lower trophies his super is almost always one kill but in higher trophies where people play things like shelly, bull or even hank, edgar suffer a lot since people check bushes more, is obvious that the reason edgar is put as a noob choice is because of all the little timmy with 13 years that think edgar is a god pick on everything and rage quits when is killed one time.

I will live by "Edgar isnt 100% braindead,just an unbearable character" Like oh yay...i lose every 1v1 encounter beacuse my character doesnt have a reaction to it (burst,cc,escape,etc),but like its mildy justified(?) since...stubby arms,so as long as he doesnt get the literal jump on me,all is fair play,remove his cover and he slowly loses the fear factor (until something happens) and he just cant do anything without the super unless the map and team favors it Imo edgar just has the bad reputation since......but skilless is one i wont agree,atleast until the balance team makes me weep if he gets a notable change or i just get salty

L take. you need to know how to dodge and when to push, that applies to every short range brawler, except that while other brawlers like bull or bibi need to use walls for their advantage, edgar can just sit in a bush and wait. you could use that and say thats the same for darryl, but no. darryl has many mechanics you can use to make best use of his roll, like double knockbacks and eolling over water and diagonally rolling, etc. but with edgar you can only aim at the enemy and release the yellow button, so hes definitely the easiest brawler to pick up and play

Every brawler requires dodging and game sense, but Edgar only requires those two. So while he isn't zero skill he is tied for one of the lowest skills. The times were Edgar was played in the world finals where in closed heist maps full of walls against squishy brawlers like Colt and Barley, no skill required.

What about Kit? I know he is annoying to play against on solo and 3 vs 3 , but he also gets deleted very easily if you go wrong on a fight.
